Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Ինչպե՞ս եք պատկերացնում Հայաստանի որևէ պաշտոնյայի, որը կանգնում է զոհված 100 տղաների ծնողների առաջ և ասում. «Չնայած Ձեր որդիները զոհվել են՝ պաշտպանելով թշնամուց հայրենի հողի մի քանի մետրը, ես համաձայն եմ կամավոր, առանց կռվի հանձնել մի քանի շրջան և թույլ տալ, որ նույն թշնամու բանակն ու ծանր հրետանին առաջանան ոչ թե մի քանի մետրով, այլ տասնյակ կիլոմետրերով և հարձակվեն մեր քաղաքների և գյուղերի վրա»։ Ենթադրում եմ, որ այդպիսի պաշտոնյա չկա։ Իսկ կա՝ արդյոք մի պաշտոնյա, որը կանգնում է Լավրովի և Պուտինի առաջ ու ասում է՝ «ոչ, մենք Ձեր ասածը չենք անի»։ Հուսով եմ, որ կա։

Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների ճնշող մեծամասնությունը լիազորում է մեր իշխանություններին ՝ այսօր ասել «Ո՛չ» «կազանյան», «մադրիդյան» կամ «լավրովյան» սկզբունքներին։ Սրանք էմոցիաներ չեն, սուտ հայրենասիրություն կամ ռազմատենչություն չի։ Մեկը ես՝ չեմ կարծում, որ մենք պետք է ադրբեջանցիների հետ հավերժ թշնամիներ լինենք՝ պարզապես 4-օրյա պատերազմը ցույց տվեց, որ հարևան պետությունը կօգտագործի բոլոր հնարավորությունները հայերին ամենավայրագ ձևով բնաջնջելու համար, և առաջարկվող «խաղաղ ծրագրերի» իրագործումը բերելու է ոչ թե խաղաղության, այլ երկարատև և արյունալի պատերազմի։
Հայաստանի իշխանությունները ոչ միայն պետք է «Ո՛չ» ասեն այդ ծրագրերին, այլև հաշվետու լինեն մեր հասարակության առաջ իրենց հետագա արտաքին քաղաքական քայլերի մասին։ Սովորաբար ի պատասխան նման պահանջի՝ արտգործնախարարն ասում է, որ «ամեն ինչ գաղտնի է»։ Իհարկե, բուն բանակցային մանրամասները կարող են գաղտնի լինել, սակայն սկզբունբային հարցերում մշուշոտ ձևակերպամներն այլևս անընդունելի են՝ արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունը պետք է հայտարարի՝ այս գաղափարին մենք դեմ ենք, այս գաղափարին կողմ ենք։ Իսկ հասարակությունը պետք է ասի՝ ընդունո՞ւմ է արտաքին քաղաքական այս կուրսը, թե՞ չի ընդունում։ Թե չէ՝ կասկած կա, որ «գաղտնիության» շղարշի տակ պարզապես կատարվում են Ռուսաստանի հրահանգները»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
