Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության Բունդեսթագի պատգամավոր Քրիստոֆ Բերգները Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիրում հարգեց Ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-
Շրջայից հետո լրագրողներից մեկի դիտարկմանը`թե հունիսին Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանությանն առնչվող քննարկումներ են լինելու, Քրիստոֆ Բերգները պատասխանեց. «Մենք նաև քննարկումներ ենք ունեցել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի ընթացքում` անցյալ տարվա ապրիլին: Հետո մենք ընդլայնեցինք քննարկումները հանձնաժողովներում, որպեսզի գտնենք լուծում, որին խորհրդարանի բոլոր անդամները համաձայն կլինեն: Ես վստահ եմ, որ հունիսի սկզբին մենք կունենանք բանաձևի նախնական տարբերակը, որտեղ մենք կնշենք, որ եղել է Ցեղասպանություն և զոհերը մեզ համար պետք է լինեն զգուշացում»:
Բունդեսթագի պատգամավորը Հայաստան է այցելել ապրիլի 23-ին կայանալիք Գլոբալ ֆորումին մասնակցելու նպատակով:
Գերմանիայի նախագահ Յոահիմ Գաուկը նախորդ տարի 1915 թվականի հայերի կոտորածներն անվանել է ցեղասպանություն` Բեռլինի Մայր տաճարում Հայոցցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված արարողության համար նախապես տարածված ելույթում: «Գերմանացիներս միասնական պետք է աշխատենք, քանի որհայերի ցեղասպանության պարագայում մեղսակից ենք, ուստի կրում ենք համապատասխանատվություն»,-ասել է Գաուկը:
