Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը ռազմական լուծում չունի և պետք է կարգավորվի բացառապես քաղաքական-դիվանագիտական ճանապարհով: Այս մասին հայտարարեց ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը` Երևանում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսում:
«Սկզբունքորեն գերակա խնդիր է 1994թ.,1995թ. հրադադարի համաձայնագրերի կատարման ապահովումը: Այդ պայմանագրերն անժամկետ են և ենթակա անհապաղ կատարման: Դրանք պետք է հարգվեն բոլորի կողմից: Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը, որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահող երկիր, կանի ամեն ինչ` համագործակցելու կողմերի հետ: Այս պահին հարգելով հրադադարի առկա պայմանագրերը, պետք է անել հնարավորինը, որպեսզի գործնական հիմքի վրա դրվեն փոխադարձ վստահության, անվտանգության ապահովման, միջադեպերի հետաքննության մեխանիզմների վերաբերյալ առաջարկները, որոնք համաձայնեցվել են Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների միջև Ռուսաստանի միջնորդությամբ 2011թ. և որոնց կյանքի կոչման ուղղությամբ աշխատել է ԵԱՀԿ: Այդ գործընթացի դանդաղեցումը ճիշտ չէ»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց Լավրովը:
Նա կոչ արեց թույլ չտալ հրադադարի պայմանավորվածությունների խախտումներ` ցավակցություն հայտնելով նաև ապրիլի սկզբին բռնության պոռթկման հետևանքով զոհվածների հարազատներին:
ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի հրավերով ապրիլի 21-22-ը ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում է: Նրան կընդունի Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Պաշտոնական այցելության շրջանակներում Սերգեյ Լավրովն արդեն այցելել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդ` հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին:
