Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի Հրատարակչական բաժինը, օրհնությամբ Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի, լույս է ընծայել Մայր Աթոռի միաբան Հոգեշնորհ Վահան ծայրագույն վարդապետ Բաստամյանցի (1842-1881) կանոնագիտական երկերի ժողովածուն:Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»--ին տեղեկացրին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից:
Պ. գ. դ. Ազատ Բոզոյանի աշխատասիրությամբ կազմված գրքում ներկայացված են «Եկեղեցական իրավագիտություն» դասախոսությունների տետրը և Վահան Բաստամյանցի կողմից հեղինակված ու «Փորձ» ամսագրում ժամանակին հրատարակված «Ամուսնությունը ըստ հայոց իրավաբանության» աշխատությունը, որոնք հայ իրավագիտական մտքի պատմության սկզբնավորության հիմք են համարվում:
Բաստամյանցի իրավագիտական աշխատությունների մեջ կարևոր տեղ է զբաղեցնում «Եկեղեցական իրավագիտությունը», որը հասել է մեզ Մեսրոպ Մաշտոցի անվան Մատենադարանում պահվող եզակի ձեռագրի միջոցով: Երկրորդ աշխատությունն ամենահայտնիներից է, քանի որ գործածվել է ամուսնության նյութի հետ առնչվող հայագիտական գրեթե բոլոր հրատարակված աշխատություններում:
