ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն անդրադարձել է գերատեսչության ու անձամբ նախարարի հասցեին հնչած քննադատություններին` կապված ապրիլի առաջին օրերին Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված լայնածավալ ռազմական գործողությունների ընթացքում նրանց աշխատանքի հետ: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` ապրիլի 22-ին ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ ասուլիսին հնչած հարցին, ըստ որի` «Եղել են տեսակետներ, որ ապրիլյան պատերազմից առաջ, դրա ընթացքում և դրանից հետո ԱԳ նախարարությունն ու նախարարը հայտնի չէ, թե ինչով էին զբաղվում: Ձեր տեսակետն այս մասին», Նալբանդյանը պատասխանեց. «Եթե քննադատները կարծում են, որ բոլոր քայլերի մասին, որ անում են արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունն ու դիվանագետները, պետք է մենք հրապարկենք, ապա հեռու են դիվանագիտության էությունից կամ մեր աշխատանքի բնո ւյթի ընկալումից: Այստեղ գաղտնիի կամ ոչ գաղտնիի մասին չէ խոսքը, ուղղակի ավելի արդյունավետ աշխատանքի մասին»:

Նալբանդյանը հերթականությամբ ներկայացրեց մարտի 30-ից մինչև ապրիլի 9-ն ընկած օրերի իր գործունեությունը` նշելով, որ դրան զուգահեռ մեծ աշխատանք են տարել նաև ԱԳ կենտրոնական ապարատի այլ ներկայացուցիչներ և տարբեր երկրներում հայկական դեսպանությունները: «Եթե այդ նույն քննադատները նայեն նախարարության կայքը գոնե այն մասով, ինչ հրապարակված է, կտեսնեն, որ մարտի վերջին ես Ժնևում էի, մարտի 31-ից ապրիլի 2-ը միացա Վաշինգտոնում ՀՀ նախագահի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը, ամսի 3-ին արդեն Երևանում ընդունում էի մի քանի պատվիրակությունների: Ապրիլի 4-ին Փարիզում Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի գլխավոր քարտուղարի հետ էի հանդիպում ու համապաստախան փաստաթղթեր ստորագրում, ամսի 5-7-ը Բեռլինում էի` նախագահի պաշտոնական այցելության ընթացքում: Ապրիլի 8-ին Մոսկվայում հանդիպում էի Լավրովի ու Բորդյուժայի հետ, մասնակցում ԱՊՀ երկրների արտգործնախպարարների հանդիպմանը: Ապրիլի 9-ին Երևանում ընդունում էի եռանախագահողներին, հետո ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի տեղակալին, հետո այցելություն Պեկին և այլն»,-նշեց ՀՀ արտգործնախարարը: Նրա խոսքով` այդ ամենին զուգահեռ ինքը հասցրել է շուրջ 4 տասնյակ հեռախոսազանգեր ունենալ իր տարբեր կոլեգանե րի հետ, որոնք նվիրված են եղել նշյալ ճգնաժամին: «Ինչպես ասացի, առաջին վայրկյաններից հենց այս ագրեսիան սանձազերծվեց, առաջին կապը հաստատվել է արտգործնախարար Լավրովի հետ ու շարունակվել իմ այլ գործընկերների հետ»,-հավելեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:

Պաշտոնյան նաև նկատեց, որ կառուցողական քննադատություններին լրջորեն են մոտենում ու փորձում շտկել բացթողումները, բայց լրագրողի մեջբերած քննադատությունները համարում են շինծու և սին:
