 ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հիացմունք է հայտնել «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության հավակնորդներին «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ ֆորումի ընթացքում:

«Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին հայ ժողովուրդը երախտագիտության ուղերձ հղեց ամբողջ աշխարհին: Մեկնարկեցին «100 կյանք» նախաձեռնությունն ու «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխությունը: Ձեր բոլոր պատմություններն էլ շատ հուզիչ են, միևնույն ժամանակ՝ ոգեշնչող ու քաջալերող: Շնորհակալ եմ նախաձեռնության հիմնադիրներ Վարդան Գրիգորյանին, Նուբար Աբեյանին և Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին, մրցանակաբաշխության հիմնադիրներին, ինչպես նաև բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր իրենց նպաստն են բերել այս կարևոր նախաձեռնության կյանքի կոչմանը: Բոլորիս մաղթում եմ արդյունավետ աշխատանք և մաղթում, որ գալիք սերունդներին միայն գրքերը պատմեն մարդկության դեմ ուղղված հանցագործությունների մասին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասել է նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը :

Երևանում մեկնարկել է «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ ֆորումը, որը հիմնականումկենտրոնացված կլինի ցեղասպանություն վերապրած կենդանի անձանց և փախստականների խնդիրների վրա: Գլոբալ ֆորումնունենալու է 4 հիմնական բաժիններ: Այնուհետև տեղի կունենան նիստեր, իսկ յուրաքանչյուր նիստի ավարտին կլինիհարցուպատասխան, որի ընթացքում մասնակիցները կկարողանան իրենց հուզող հարցեըը տալ զեկուցողներին: Մասնակիցներիելույթները նախատեսված են փակման բաժնում: Գլոբալ ֆորումը լուսաբանելու համար հավատարմագրվել են ավելի քան 70արտասահմանյան լրատվամիջոց: 

The Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity «Ավրորա» մրցանակը 100 LIVES նախաձեռնության համահիմնադիրներ ՎարդանԳրեգորյանի, Նուբար Աֆեյանի ևւ Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի մարդասիրական ձեռնարկն է, որով նրանք փորձում են ձևավորելմարդասիրական համաշխարհային նոր շարժում։ «Ավրորա» մրցանակը շնորհվում է Հ այոց ցեղասպանությունը վերապրածներիանունից և ի երախտագիտություն նրանց, ովքեր փրկության ձեռք մեկնեցին հայ ժողովրդին: Մրցանակին կարող է առաջադրվելմարդասիրական բացառիկ քայլեր կատարած յուրաքանչյուր մարդ կամ մարդիկ։ Դափնեկիրը ճանաչման է արժանանումանձնվիրաբար և բացառիկ ջանքերով մարդկանց օգնելու համար՝ անտեսելով սեփական առողջությանն ու ազատությաննսպառնացող իրական վտանգները։ 

Ապրիլի 24-ին Երևանում կայանալիք արարողությանը Ընտրող հանձնաժողովի համանախագահ, ճանաչված դերասան եւ ռեժիսոր Ջորջ Քլունին հաղթողին կհանձնի անդրանիկ «Ավրորա» մրցանակը։ Քլունին իր կարիերայի ընթացքում հիմնել և աջակցել է բազմաթիվ բարեգործական նախաձեռնությունների։
