Սերժ Սարգսյանը Ֆրանկ Էնգելին է հանձնել Մխիթար Գոշի մեդալը

ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն ապրիլի 23-ին ընդունել է Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Ֆրանկ Էնգելին:
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին՝ Նախագահը նշել է, որ նա մշտապես սպասված հյուր է Հայաստանում: Սերժ Սարգսյանը բարձր է գնահատել Ֆրանկ Էնգելի գործունեությունը՝ ուղղված Հայաստանին և հայ ժողովրդին հուզող հարցերին, ինչպես նաև նրա առանձնակի վերաբերմունքը ԼՂ հիմնահարցի նկատմամբ, որը, ՀՀ Նախագահի խոսքով, լավագույնս դրսևորվեց Եվրոպական խորհրդարանում, ինչպես նաև այսօր Երևանում տեղի ուեցած գլոբալ համաժողովի ժամանակ հնչեցրած նրա ելույթներում: Հանրապետության Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել այն ստույգ տեղեկությունների և ճիշտ մոտեցումների համար, որոնք տեղ են գտել պատգամավոր Ֆրանկ Էնգելի ելույթներում: «Շատ կարևոր է, որ Եվրոպական խորհրդարանում և ընդհանրապես, եվրոպական հասարակության մեջ տեղյակ լինեն իրական դեպքերին, դրանց պատճառներին ու դրդապատճառներին»,-ասել է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և գնահատելի համարել Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Ֆրանկ Էնգելի նախաձեռնությունը՝ այս օրերին այցելել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետություն:
Պատգամավոր Ֆրանկ Էնգելը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ՀՀ Նախագահին ընդունելության և իր հրապարակային գործունեությանը տրված բարձր գնահատականի ու ջերմ խոսքերի համար:
Հանդիպմանը զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացի վերսկսման հնարավորության և դրա համար այսօր անհրաժեշտ պայմանների ապահովման վերաբերյալ: Ֆրանկ Էնգելը կարևորել է հիմնախնդրի բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորումը և պատրաստակամություն հայտնել, որպես Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր, նպաստել ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ձևաչափով հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը:
Հանդիպման ավարտին Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Ֆրանկ Էնգելին շնորհավորել և հանձնել է ՀՀ պետական բարձր պարգևը՝ Մխիթար Գոշի մեդալը, որով նա ս.թ. տարեսկզբին պարգևատրվել էր Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի համար:
