Ադրբեջանը ձախողվեց բանակցություններում, դրա համար փորձեց ռազմական ճանապարհով գտնել լուծումներ, սակայն ռազմական ճանապարհին էլ ձախողվեց: Այժմ ստիպված է լինելու վերադառնալ բանակցությունների սեղան, քանի որ դրանց այլընտրանք չկա: Ապրիլի 24-ին Ծիծեռնակաբերդում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտնեց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը: Նախարարը հավաստեց, որ ՌԴ արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ հանդիպմանը բանակցային որևէ փաթեթ չի քննարկվել, այդ թվում` տարածքների զիջումների մասին չի խոսվել: «Ընդհանրապես կան առաջարկներ եռանախագահների կողմից հինգ հայտարարությունների մեջ, որոնց հիմնան վրա Հայաստանը բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ կարող է շարունակել բանակցությունները, գնալ կարգավորման, բայց Ադրբեջանն անտեսում է: Սա է իրականությունն ու պատճառը: Դրա համար միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է փորձի անել հնարավորինը, որ Ադրբեջանին բերի կառո ւցողական դաշտ: Առաջարկները, որ արվել էին, եթե ձեռնտու լինեին Ադրբեջանին, չէր մտնի փակուղի, չէր գնա այս գործողություններին»,- ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:
Նա շեշտեց, որ Ադրբեջանի նախահարձակ գործողությունների արդյունքում բանակցություններին լուրջ վնաս է հասցվել, ու եռանախագահների հետ պետք է ջանքեր գործադրել, որ այդ հարվածը, որ հասցվել էր խաղաղ կարգավորմանը, վերկանգնվի: «Կան զոհեր, իսկ դա անվերականգնելի է, ու միջազգային հանրությունը դրանով է զբաղված, որ հանրավոր լինի Ադրբեջանին կարգի հրավիրել, բերել կառուցողական դաշտ, որպեսզի բանակացությունները շարունակվեն, քանի որ դրանց որևէ այլընտրանք չկա»,-հավելեց ԱԳ նախարարը` հորդորելով ասեկոսեների վրա հիմնված եզրակացություններ չանել: «Հան դիպումից հետո Լավրովը ևս հայտարարեց, որ պետք է մեր ջանքերը ուղղված լինեն հետաքննության մեխանիզմի ստեղծմանը, այլ միջոցների հայթայթմանը, որ կայունություն ստեղծվի, անվտանգությունն ապահովի տարածաշրջանում, որ հնարավոր լինի ավելի հարմար ու նպաստավոր պայմաններում շարունակել բանակցությունները»,-եզրափակեց նախարարը:
