 Կան դատավճիռներ, որոնք փաստում են 1915 թվականին հայերի նկատմամբ կատարվածի ցեղասպանություն լինելը: Այս մասին Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց Արդարադատության նախկին նախարար Գևորգ Դանիելյանը:

Նրա խոսքով, Թուրքիան շատ հաճախ հայտարարում է, որ իրենք պատրաստ են իրենց արխիվները տրամադրել, և փորձել համատեղ ուժերով համոզվել, թե իրականում 1915 թվականին ինչ է տեղի ունեցել:  

«Դա  այդքան էլ այդպես չէ, մեծ կեղծիք կա դրա տակ: Նույն Թուրքիան հայտարարում է, որ 1919-1921 թվականների քրեական գործերի նյութերն արխիվներում այլևս չեն պահպանվել: Ավելին, մոտ 7 տարի առաջ հայտարարություն է տարածվել, որ քրեական գործերի նյութերն ամենայն հավանականությամբ հափշտակվել են հայերի կողմից: Բայց Վատիկանի արխիվներում պահպանվել են մի շարք դատավճիռներ, իհարկե, դատավճիռներում բառացի չի խոսվում ցեղասպանության մասին, բայց բովանդակային կտրվածքով դա կա: Իմ ձեռքի տակ էլ կան դատավճիռներ, որոնք հրապարակում ենք, Ազգային ակադեմիան նույնպես հրապարակում է, այդ դատավճիռներում առկա նկարագրությունը դասական իմաստով ցեղասպանություն է: Այլ հարց է, որ հիմա դրա մասին թուրքերը քիչ են խոսում, փորձում են թաքցնել իրողությունը, բայց դրանից ոչինչ չի փոխվում»,-ասաց Գևորգ Դանիելյանը: Նրա խոսքով, դատավճիռները խոսում են այն մասին, որ ոչ թե պատերազմական գործողություններով թելադրված, այլ կոնկրետ էթնիկ շարժառիթներով սպանություններ են եղել: Եվ հայերի տեղաշարժն էլ տեղի է ունեցել ոչ թե մարդկանց անվտանգությունն ապահովելու նկատառումով, այլ ոչնչացնելու:

«Ինձ համար ավելի շատ ընդունելի են այդ թվականների թուրքական դատական ակտերը, քան այսօրվա մարդկանց կարծիքը, որը բացարձակապես որևէ փաստ, հիմք չունի: Թուրքիան հենց ինքն է այդ տարիներին դատական գործընթաց սկսել: Միջազգային կազմակերպություններն այդ ժամանակ կարծիք էին հայտնում, որ եթե Թուրքիան դատական գործընթաց  չսկսի, ապա հնարավոր է այդ հարցով միջազգային դատական ատյան հիմնվի: Թուրքիան էլ ցանկացավ մեղմել իրավիճակը և դատական գործ սկսեց: Դրանից բացի, իշխանության էին եկել նոր ուժեր, որոնք հեռուն չնայելով, փորձում էին դատապարտել նախկին իշխանություններին»,-հավելեց Գևորգ Դանիելյանը:
