Հայոց ցեղասպանության 101-րդ տարելիցի օրերին հոլիվուդյան հայտնի դերասան Ջորջ Քլունիի հայաստանյան այցը լայնորեն լուսաբանվում է համաշխարհային լրատվամիջոցների կողմից: Բրիտանական Mirror պարբերականը գրում է, որ Քլունին օգտագործում է «մամուլի ճնշող ուշադրությունը բարձրաձայնելու համաշխարհային անարդարությունը»: Պարբերականը նշում է, որ Հայաստանում հատկապես շատ են սիրում Ջորջի Քլունիի կնոջը` Ամալին, ով նախկինում աշխատել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման ուղղությամբ:
Իսկ բրիտանական մեկ այլ պարբերական` Independent-ը, մեջբերել է Քլունիի` կատակով ասված խոսքերն այն մասին, որ ինքը Հայաստանում է որպես «Ամալի ամուսին»:

DailyMail-ը, անդրադառնալով Քլունիի այցին, գրում է. «Հոլիվուդյան աստղը և մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը Երևանում հազարավոր հայերի հետ շարժվել է դեպի հուշահամալիր` հիշատակելու Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ընթացքում Օսմանյան կայսրությունում իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանության 101-րդ տարելիցը»:
