 Ֆրանսահայ կինոռեժիսոր,  դերասան Սերժ Ավետիքյանը, ով այս օրերին Հայաստանում է «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու համար, կարծում է, որ վաղուց ժամանակն է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը հիշատակել ոչ թե թախծոտ, այլ կյանքով լեցուն միջոցառումներով: Նա հենց այդպիսինն էլ համարում է «Ավրորա»-ի մրցանակը: «Շատ մեծ ժեստ է այն, որ երեք հայ կարողացան կազմակերպել ու տուժող ազգի` հայերի անունից մրցանակ ու գումար տալ այսօրվա տուժողներով զբաղվող մարդկանց, ովքեր իրենց կյանքն են զոհաբերում դրա համար: Սա նշանակում է, որ մենք ինչ-որ բան կառուցել ենք ու կարող ենք դա բաշխել, նվիրել»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց հայտնի դերասանը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է տեսակետին, որ «Ավրորա»-ն հավակնում է հավասարազոր լինել Նոբելյան մրցանակին, Սերժ Ավետիքյանը նկատեց, որ հայկական մրցանակը թե իր մեջ դրված իմաստով ու գաղափարախոսությամբ, թե շնորհվող գումարով շատ նման է Նոբելյան մրցանակին: Դերասանի խոսքով` մրցանակի անունն էլ է շատ լավ ընտրված, քանի որ շատ գեղեցիկ կնոջ ու հերոսուհու պատվին է:

Մեր զրուցակիցը կարևոր համարեց փաստը, որ հայերի անունից տրվող մրցանակն առաջին անգամ հանձնվում է Երևանում` հավելելով, որ իր, համամարդկային բնույթից ելնելով, այն հետագայում կարող է շնորհվել նաև Փարիզում և այլուր:

Անդրադառնալով ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմին ու դրանից դասեր քաղելու անհրաժեշտությանը` Սերժ Ավետիքյանը նշեց, որ անսպասելի չէր այն, ինչ եղավ: «Եթե հարցը լուծված չէ, նրանք իրենց ուժն են ցույց տալիս, մենք էլ ցույց ենք տալիս, որ կամքի ուժով ենք, կանգնած ենք, որովհետև այս հարցը թղթի վրա չի լուծվելու»,-ասաց Ավետիքյանը` հավելելով, որ Արցախում մարդիկ կամային են, ուժեղ, քանի որ կանգնած են իրենց տան շեմին:

«Ինչ վերաբերում է դասեր քաղելուն, ապա պետք է ոչ մեկի վրա հույս չդնել, պետք է կոռուպցիայից դուրս գալ ու մտածել, թե եկող սերունդներն ինչի վրա են հենվելու: Ես հուսով եմ, որ եկող սերունդը այն դասերը կքաղի, որ եթե ուզում ես ապրել մի երկրում, ուր և դեմոկրատական շարժում կա, և իրավունքներն են պաշտպանված, և հզոր բանակ, ապա դու պետք է ունենաս ընկերներ, բայց հույսդ քեզ վրա դնես: Քո ընկերները մի օր կարող են քեզ դավաճանել»,-ավելացրեց մեր զրուցակիցը:

Խոսելով իր մասնագիտական գործունեության մասին` Սերժ Ավետիքյանը նշեց, որ ներկայում ավարտել է նոր ֆիլմը, որն անուղղակիորեն կապված է այսօրվա իրադարձությունների հետ, քանի որ նկարահանվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության սահմանի  նախիջևանյան հատվածում 2015-ի ամռանը: «Շուտով կտեսնեք ֆիլմը, այն իր ասելիքներն ունի. քնքուշ կոմեդիայի ձևով, նուրբ, բայց տխուր բան կա մեջը»,-հավելեց կինոռեժիսորը: Առաջիկայում էլ Լիբանանում պատրաստվում է նկարահանել «Վերջին ռաունդը Ստամբոլում» ֆիլմը: «Մեծ գործ է, շուտվանից եմ աշխատում այդ ուղղությամբ: Դա ուղղ ված է Թուրքիայի ժողովրդին, որ հասկանան, թե ինչ երկրում են ապրում: Կարծես թե այդ երկիրը պետք է ուղղվեր, բայց լրիվ հակառակն է: Պատմությունը ոչ նույն ձևով, բայց կրկնվում է»,-նշեց Ավետիքյանը:
