Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Ծանր արտաքին քաղաքական և տնտեսական վիճակում գտնվող Ռուսաստանն այսօր քիչ դաշնակիցներ ունի: Ինչպես և անհատը, որը կյանքն ընկալում է որպես «պայքար» իրեն շրջապատող թշնամիների դեմ և հենց այդ աշխարհընկալման պատճառով գրեթե չունի իրեն սիրող և հարգող բարեկամներ, այնպես էլ պետությունները, որոնց գաղափարախոսությունը հիմնված է թշնամական միջավայրից «պաշտպանվելու» հայեցակարգի վրա, ի վերջո, հայտնվում են մեկուսացման մեջ: Բնական է, որ այս իրավիճակում Ռուսաստանը չի ուզում կորցնել Հայաստանին, որը, որքան էլ փոքր լինի, Ռուսաստանի «հազվագյուտ» դաշնակիցներից մեկն է: Մասնավորապես, այդ պատճառով ՀՀ-ում Ռուսաստանի դեսպանատունը ծանր է տանում և, իմ կարծիքով, չափազանցված նշանակություն է տալիս Արթուր Սաքունցի և Բարսեղյան Լևոնի գործունեությանը ու երբեմն նույնիսկ «հուշում» է մեր իշխանություններին՝ «զբաղվել» նման մարդկանցով և կազմակերպություններով: Մտավախությունը, բնականաբար, «մայդանն» է, այսինքն՝ հասարակական այնպիսի մի շարժում, որը ոչ միայն իշխանափոխություն կիրականացնի, այլև «կթեքի» Հայաստանը դեպի Արևմուտք:

 Հիշո՞ւմ եք, երբ ԲՀԿ-ն ու նրա դաշնակիցները քաղաքական ակտիվություն էին դրսևորում, քանի՞՜ անգամ այս Քառյակի, իսկ այնուհետև՛ Եռյակի ներկայացուցիչները ստիպված էին հայտարարել, որ իրենց քննադատության թիրախը Հայաստանի իշխանություններն են, և որ «համաժողովրդական» շարժումը որևէ ձևով ուղղված չէ Ռուսաստանի դեմ: Մայդան չէ՝ մի խոսքով: Դեսպան Վոլինկինի մոտ «ստուգարք ստանալուց» հետո այդ ուժերը կարող էին ազատորեն շարունակել իրենց «ոչ իշխանական» գործունեությունը, բայց ռեսուրսը չբավարարեց:

 Բաղրամյան փողոցի իրադարձությունների առաջին օրերին Ռուսաստանի աչքին կրկին «մայդան» երևաց, և հունիսի 23-ի «ջրցանը» դրա ուղիղ հետևանքն էր: Բայց հետո Հայաստանի իշխանությունները, ցուցարարները, այլ գործիչներն ու մեկնաբանները բացատրեցին մեր ռազմավարական դաշնակցին, որ «մայդանի» հոտ անգամ չի գալիս, և ամեն ինչ տեղափոխվեց խաղաղ փուլ»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
