ՌԴ  նկատմամբ  պատժամիջոցների  «մրցավազքը»  մեկնարկեց  անցյալ տարի` 2014թ. հուլիսի 29-ին, երբ Եվրոպական միությունը (ԵՄ)  պատժամիջոցներ սահմանեց Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության (ՌԴ) նկատմամբ, որին հաջորդեց նաև ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից սահմանափակումները և շղթան շարունակական եղավ: Մինչ  այդ հիմնականում միջոցառումներ էին իրականացվում կոնկրետ  անհատների  նկատմամբ, «ովքեր  պատասխանատվություն էին կրում Ղրիմի էսկալացիայի համար»:

Սակայն  կարճ  ժամանակ  անց պարզ  դարձավ, որ ՌԴ  նկատմամբ  կիրառվող  պատժամիջոցներն  երբեմն  հավասարաչափ, երբեմն էլ  ավելի  շատ  վնասում են նաև  վերջինս կիրառող պետությունների տնտեսությանը:  Եվրոպական երկրների  առաջնորդները նման հայտարարություններով բազմիցս են հանդես եկել:

Նախնական շրջանում պատժամիջոցները օրըստօրե ընդլայնվում էին, սակայն  վերջերս  դրանց ընդլայնման գործընթացը  կարծես թե  կանգ էր  առել: Թերևս դադարի առիթ հանդիսացան կամ տնտեսական նկատառումները, կամ էլ այն գիտակցումը, որ  Ռուսաստանը, անկախ  իրավիճակից,  անկոտրում է Ղրիմի հարցում:

Թվացյալ լռությունը օրերս խախտվեց: Նախ  վերջերս  կայացած ԵՄ նիստի  ընթացքում որոշում կայացվեց, որ ՌԴ  նկատմամբ կիրառվող պատժամիջոցները  կերաձգվեն մինչ 2016թ. հունվարի 1-ը:  Իսկ օրերս էլ Եվրոպական վեց պետություններ՝ Չերնոգորիան, Ալբանիան, Իսլանդիան, Նորվեգիան, Լիխտեյնշտեյնը, Ուկրաինան, ինչպես նաև Վրաստանը  միացան  Ռուսաստանի դեմ Եվրամիության կողմից կիրառվող պատժամիջոցների երկարացմանը:

Ուշագրավ է, որ Վրաստանի՝ պատժամիջոցներին միանալու վերաբերյալ տեղեկատվության շրջանառումից ժամեր անց   Վրաստանի վարչապետի՝ ՌԴ հետ հարաբերությունների գծով հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Զուրաբ Աբաշիձեն հայտարարեց, որ Վրաստանը ՌԴ  նկատմամբ նոր  պատժամիջոցներ կիրառելու  վերաբերյալ որոշում չի  կայացրել, պարզապես երկարաձգել է դեռ նախորդ  տարվանից գործող պատժամիջոցները:

 Հետաքրքական է, որ Վրաստանի՝  պատժամիջոցներին միանալու վերաբերյալ տեղեկատվությունն առհասարակ շրջանառվեց, քանի որ ԵՄ գերագույն հանձնակատար Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինիի՝ պաշտոնական կայքում տեղեկայված  հաղորդագության մեջ  նշվում են միայն վերոհիշյալ վեց պետությունները՝ առանց Վրաստանի հիշատակման:

Պատժամիջոցների՝ երկարաձգման վերաբերյալ տեղեկատվությանը հաջորդեց Ռուսաստանի պաշտոնական արձագանքը:  ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի մամլո-խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հայտարարեց, որ Ռուսաստանը կարող է պատասխան միջոցներ կիրառել այն  պետությունների  նկատմամբ, ովքեր  աջակցել են ՌԴ  նկատմամբ ԵՄ կողմից կիրառվող տնտեսական պատժամիջոցների երկարաձգմանը՝ մեկնաբանելով, որ գործելու է փոխադարձության սկզբունքը:

Ուշադրության է արժանի  հատկապես  այն հանգամանքը, որ Եվրոպական միության  նման  որոշումը հաջորդեց ՌԴ  նախագահ Պուտինի՝ նախօրեին ստորագրած հրամանագրին,   համաձայն որի օգոստոսի 6-ից թույլատրվում է ոչնչացնել ՌԴ սահմանը հատած այն  արգելված ապրանքնտեսակները, որոնք ներթափանցել  են ռուսական շուկա:
