Երեւան քաղաքի Կենտրոն եւ Նորք-Մարաշ ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանում հարուցվել է քրեական գործ դասախոսի կողմից իր ուսանողներից կաշառք պահանջելու դեպքի առթիվ: 

Ըստ Դատական տեղեկատվական համակարգի՝ Ռուսաստանի տուրիզմի եւ սերվիսի պետական համալասարանի Երեւանի մասնաճյուղի ավագ դասախոս Սուրեն Եզեկյանին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել այն բանի համար, որ վերջինս իր լիազզորությունների շրջանակում ուսանողների օգտին գործողություններ կատարելու, այն է՝ ստուգարքներն ու քննությունները դրական գնահատելու համար, 2011-2014թթ ժամանակահատվածում որպես կաշառք իր ուսանողներից պահանջել եւ ստացել է խոշոր չափերով գումարներ: 
Որպես իրեղեն ապացույց է նշվել 60 հազար դրամը:
 
Դասախոսին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել Քրեական օրենսգրքի 311-րդ հոդվածի առաջին մասով եւ երրորդ մասի առաջին եվ երրորդ կետերով: Սրանցից առաջինը նախատեսում է տուգանք՝ նվազագույն աշխատավարձի երեքհարյուրապատիկից հինգհարյուրապատիկի չափով, կամ ազատազրկում՝ առավելագույնը հինգ տարի ժամկետով՝ որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկելով՝ առավելագույնը երեք տարի ժամկետով: Իսկ երկրորդը՝ չորսից տասը տարի ժամկետով ազատազրկում՝ գույքի բռնագրավմամբ կամ առանց դրա:
 
Նրա նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց է կիրառվել կալանավորումը: 
Ծանուցում. Ենթադրյալ հանցանքի մեջ կասկածվողը կամ մեղադրվողը համարվում է անմեղ, քանի դեռ նրա մեղավորությունն ապացուցված չէ ՀՀ քրեական դատավարության օրենսգրքով սահմանված կարգով` դատարանի` օրինական ուժի մեջ մտած դատավճռով:
