Սիրիայի խնդրով ՄԱԿ-ի հատուկ դեսպանորդը ԱԽ-ին կզեկուցի բանակցությունների ապրիլյան փուլի արդյունքների մասին

ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհուրդը ապրիլի 27-ին Սիրիայի շուրջ փակ խորհրդակցություն կանցկացնի գլխավոր քարտուղարի հատուկ դեսպանորդ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրայի մասնակցությամբ, որը նախօրյակին Ժնեւում վերջին հանդիպումն է անցկացրել հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման բանակցությունների հերթական փուլի շրջանակներում:
Ինչպես լրագրողներին հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Ստեֆան Դյուժարիկը, ԱԽ-ի հանդիպումը կընթանա դռնփակ, իսկ Միստուրան ինքն անձամբ ներկա չի լինելու դրան: Նա տեսակապ է հաստատելու Ժնեւից: Հանդիպման ավարտից հետո հանձնակատարը մամուլի ասուլիս է տալու Ժնեւում, որի ընթացքում կամփոփի բանակցությունների փուլի արդյունքները:
Ժնեւում բանավեճերի վերջին փուլն սկսվել էր ապրիլի 13-ին եւ ուղեկցվում էր զգալի դժվարություններով՝ կապված Սիրիայի հումանիտար իրադրության եւ անվտանգության հարցերի հետ: Ապրիլի 18-ին Բանակցությունների բարձրագույն կոմիտեն՝ սիրիական ընդդիմության հիմնական խմբակցությունը, որը հաստատվել է Էր Ռիադում, հայտարարեց բանակցություններին իր մասնակցության կասեցման մասին: Չնայած դրան, Ստաֆան դե Միստուրան շարունակեց հանդիպումները մյուս կողմերի, այդ թվում՝ Սիրիայի կառավարության պատվիրակության եւ ներքին ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչների հետ:
Ապրիլի 26-ին բանակցություններին մոտ կանգնած աղբյուրը ՏԱՍՍ-ին հայտնել է, որ բանակցությունները նախատեսվում է վերսկսել մայիսի 10-15-ին:
Բանակցություններում Դամասկոսի պատվիրակության ղեկավար, ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր Սիրիայի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Բաշար Ջաֆարին նախօրյակին հայտարարել է, որ բանակցությունների ապրիլյան փուլը «կառուցողական էր եւ օգտակար»:
Դրանից մեկ օր առաջ Ջաֆարին ԲԲԿ-ին մեղադրել էր խաղաղ բանակցությունները վիժեցնելու եւ լարվածությունը սաստկացնելու փորձերի մեջ: Նրա կարծիքով՝ այդ ամենի ետեւում կանգնած են տարածաշրջանային խաղորդները, նախ եւ առաջ՝ Սաուդյան Արաբիան եւ Թուրքիան:
