2015թ. ընթացքում «Հարավկովկասյան երկաթուղի» ՓԲԸ-ի կատարած երկաթուղային ենթակառուցվածքի վերանորոգման աշխատանքների արդյունքում Հայաստանի երկաթուղու ամբողջ երկայնքով տեղադրվել է 4,2 հազար տոննա ռելս (որից 2,1 հազար տոննա՝ նոր ռելսեր), փոխվել է 20,2 հազար փայտե եւ 56 հազար երկաթբետոնե կոճ, վերանորոգվել 45 կիլոմետր կոնտակտային ցանց: Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀԿԵ ՓԲԸ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, 2015-ի վերակառուցումից հետո «Փամբակ» կայարանում շահագործման է հանձնվել 1989-ից պարապուրդի մատնված քարշային ենթակայանը, որը վերականգնվել է ընկերության մասնագետների ուժերով: Այս նախագծով ներդրումների ծավալը կազմել է 30 մլն դրամ, իսկ էներգամատակարարման ոլորտում ՀԿԵ-ի ներդրումները 2015թ. գերազանցել են 230,9 միլիոն դրամը: ՀԿԵ-ի այս նախագծի շնորհիվ էլեկտրաէներգիա են ստանում նաև Փամբակ եւ Եղեգնուտ գյուղերը:

2015թ-ի ընթացքում «Հարավկովկասյան երկաթուղին» Հայաստանի երկաթուղային համակարգի զարգացմանն ուղղել էր 6,5 միլիարդ դրամ, իսկ 2008-2015թթ. ներդրումների ընդհանուր ծավալը գերազանցել էր 104,6 միլիարդ դրամը: Նշված գումարից 77,6 միլիարդ դրամն ուղղվել է ենթակառուցվածքի արդիականացմանը, իսկ 26,9 միլիարդ դրամը՝ շարժակազմի թարմացմանը:

Նախորդ տարի երկարատև դադարից հետո Երեւանի եւ Գյումրիի լոկոմոտիվային դեպոներում շարունակվեցին ջերմաքարշերի եւ էլեկտրաքարշերի ընթացիկ վերանորոգման աշխատանքները: Վերանորոգված առաջին ջերմա- եւ էլեկտրաքարշերն արդեն շահագործվում են «ՀԿԵ»-ում:

«Այս ամենը թույլ տվեց էապես բարձրացնել գնացքների երթեւեկության անվտանգության մակարդակը եւ ենթակառուցվածքի որակը: Զննումների արդյունքներով՝ տարբեր կարգապահական տույժերի են ենթարկվել ընկերության 42 աշխատողներ, իսկ 18-ը՝ պարգեւատրվել են:

Նշենք, որ «ՀԿԵ» ՓԲԸ-ն «Ռուսական երկաթուղիներ» ԲԲԸ-ի դուստր ընկերությունն է եւ իրականացնում է Հայաստանի երկաթուղային համակարգի կոնցեսիոն կառավարումը: Համաձայն 2008թ. փետրվարի 13-ին Երեւանում կնքված պայմանագրի՝ կոնցեսիոն կառավարման ժամկետը կազմում է 30 տարի՝ կողմերի փոխադարձ համաձայնությամբ եւս 10 տարի երկարացման իրավունքով:
