Լոնդոնում օծվել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության սրբադասված նահատակների սրբապատկերը

Հայոց ցեղասպանության 101-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումների շրջանակում բրիտանահայ համայնքի կողմից ապրիլի 23-ին բազմամարդ երթ կազմակերպվեց կենտրոնական Լոնդոնում: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվութ յան եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:
Երթի մասնակցիները Պիկադիլի փողոցով և Տրաֆալգար հրապարակով ուղևորվեցին դեպի «Ուայթհոլ» կառավարական շրջանում տեղակայված «Փառապանծ զոհերի» հուշարձան, որտեղ Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Մեծ Բրիտանիայի թեմի առաջնորդը, հայ համայնքային կառույցների ղեկավարությունը, ինչպես նաև՝ արարողությանը միացած ՀՀ դեսպանության ներկայացուցիչները ծաղկեպսակներ զետեղեցին` ի հիշատակ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի:
Միջոցառումները շարունակվեցին նաև ապրիլի 24-ին։ Լոնդոնի Սուրբ Եղիշե Եկեղեցում ՄԹ թեմի առաջնորդ Հովակիմ սրբազան Մանուկյանի կողմից մատուցվեց պատարագ, որի ընթացքում օծվեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության սրբադասված նահատակների սրբապատկերը, ինչպես նաև հոգեհանգստի կարգ` ի հիշատակ Արցախում ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին զոհված մարտիկների։
Նույն օրը Սուրբ Եղիշե եկեղեցու սրահում տեղի ունեցավ դասական երաժշտության համերգ, որը կազմակերպվել էր Միացյալ Թագավորությունում Հայ համայնքային խորհրդի կողմից։ Միջոցառմանը երաժշտական ստեղծագործությունների կատարմամբ հանդես եկավ «Անի Բատիկյան և լարային քառյակ» երաժշտական խումբը, իսկ հայ մեծանուն բանաստեղծների աշխատանքների ներկայացմամբ` ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ, դերասանուհի և ասմունքող Ժենյա Ավետիսյանը։ Միջոցառմանը ներկաներին իր խոսքն ուղղեց ՄԹ–ում ՀՀ դեսպանության ներկայացուցիչը։
