Airbus կորպորացիան պատվիրատուին Է հանձնել ԱՄՆ-ում կառուցված առաջին A321 հանրանավը

Airbus եվրոպական ավիաշինական կորպորացիան պատվիրատուին՝ ամերիկյան JetBlue Airways լոուքոսթերին, Է հանձնել A321 առաջին մարդատար ինքնաթիռը, որը կառուցվել Է ԱՄՆ-ում: Արարողությունը տեղի Է ունեցել Մոբիլ քաղաքում (Ալաբամայի նահանգ), որտեղ տեղավորված Է Airbus-ի՝ շուրջ մեկ տարի առաջ բացված գործարանը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:  

Անցած ամսին նոր A321-ը, որը կառուցվել Է մեկ տարուց Էլ պակաս ժամանակում, հաջողությամբ Է կատարել թեստային չվերթները Մոբիլի օդանավակայանից: Այս ինքնաթիռը, դառնալով Airbus-ի ամերիկյան արտադրամասերում կառուցված առաջին հանրանավը, ստացել Է BluesMobile անվանումը: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ նրա ֆյուզելյաժի առանձին հիմնամասեր արտադրվել են Գերմանիայի Համբուրգ քաղաքի գործարանում, որտեղից դրանք ԱՄՆ են ուղարկվել հետագա հավաքման համար:

«Դեռ մի քանի տարի առաջ ես պարզապես չԷի կարող պատկերացնել, որ կտեսնեմ ԱՄՆ-ում կառուցված Airbus-ի առաջին ինքնաթիռը»,-հայտարարել Է արարողությանը մասնակցած Airbus-ի՝ արտադրության գծով գլխավոր տնօրեն Ջոն Լիխին:

Ներկայում Airbus-ի Մոբիլի գործարանում A321 եւս ինը հանրանավերի ստեղծման աշխատանք Է տարվում: Դրանցից ութը նախատեսված են American Airlines ավիաընկերության, եւս մեկը՝ Spirit Airlines ավիաընկերության համար:

Airbus A321-ը պատկանում Է A320 նեղֆյուզելյաժային ինքնաթիռների ընտանիքին, որոնք նախատեսված են փոքր ու միջին հեռավորության ավիաուղիների համար: 1988 թվականին թողարկված այդ մոդելի գլխավոր մրցակիցը Boeing 737 ինքնաթիռների ընտանիքն Է, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
