«Վերջին երկու օրերին իրավիճակը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանին կրկին լարվել է, թեժացել։ Ընդ որում՝ այստեղ հատկանշական է արձանագրել մի կարևոր նրբերանգ։ Սահմանային իրավիճակում քառօրյա պատերազմից հետո, այսպես ասած, գնահատականի և հանրային ընկալման ելակետ է փոխվել։ Օրինակ՝ այն, ինչ կատարվում է այսօր, եթե համեմատենք մինչև քառօրյա պատերազմը եղած իրավիճակի հետ, ապա կլիներ հասարակական մեծ մտահոգություն առաջացնող զարգացում, էսկալացիայի նոր աստիճան։ Սակայն քառօրյա պատերազմից հետո գնահատման ելակետը, փաստորեն, այլ է, և այսօր թեժացումը այլևս էսկալացիայի նոր աստիճան չէ։

Իհարկե, դա բացարձակապես չի նշանակում, որ մտահոգության առարկա չէ, սակայն ակնհայտ է, որ թե՛ հանրային, թե՛ միջազգային կառույցների գիտակցության մեջ սա արդեն էսկալացիայի նոր աստիճան չէ, քանի որ քառօրյա պատերազմը «սահմանեց» պատերազմական նշաձող՝ այդպիսով ըստ էության Ադրբեջանին տալով այսպես ասած, «լոկալ» խախտումների ավելի բարձր աստիճանի հնարավորություն։ Այլ կերպ ասած՝ քառօրյա պատերազմի միջոցով Բաքուն չհասավ ռազմական հաջողությունների, սակայն ըստ էության կարողացավ ապահովել քաղաքական մի նոր ֆոն, որի պարագայում իր համար ստեղծեց, այսպես կոչված, ռազմական          դիվանագիտության դրսևորումների կամ պարզապես ռազմական սադրանքների և շանտաժի ավելի մեծ մասշտաբի հնարավորություն։

Այսինքն՝ այսօր արդեն համեմատության եզրը ոչ թե համեմատական խաղաղությունն է, այլ քառօրյա պատերազմը, և Բաքուն գուցե թե ակնկալում է, որ ռազմական սադրանքների համար այլևս ոչ թե հարկ կլինի պատասխան տալ, այլ միջազգային հանրությունը կհանդուրժի դա, միայն թե չգնա կրկին այնպիսի պատերազմական գործողությունների, ինչպես ապրիլի 2-ի լուսաբացին։ Ալիևի այս ակնհայտ հաշվարկը պարզ է, և նա փորձում է գոնե հասնել այդ արդյունքի ամրագրման, քանի որ դա միակն է, որ նրան հաջողվեց քառօրյա ավանտյուրայի ընթացքում։ Այսինքն՝ նա փորձում է գոնե ձեռք բերել կամ այսպես ասած՝ լեգիտիմացնել հայ զինվորներին սպանելու իրավունքը։

Հետևաբար՝ հայկական կողմի համար առնվազն մարտավարական առումով առաջանում է խնդիր՝ Ալիևին թույլ չտալ ամրագրել այդ իրավունքը։ Եվ դատելով վերջին երկու-երեք օրերի զարգացումներից՝ հայկական կողմը ձեռնամուխ է եղել հենց այդ խնդրին, տեսնելով, որ քաղաքական հարթության վրա Ալիևին այդ իրավունքից զրկելը կարծես թե չի հաջողվում, մի շարք գործոնների, այդ թվում, իհարկե, նաև թե՛ նախկինում, թե՛ հենց քառօրյա պատերազմում թույլ տված սեփական քաղաքական, դիվանագիտական սխալների պատճառով։

Նա շարունակելու է սպանել հայ զինվորներին, հետևաբար՝ հայկական կողմին այլ բան չի մնում, քան Ալիևին ուղղակի ֆիզիկապես զրկել այդ հնարավորությունից, Եթե ոչ իսպառ, ապա գոնե նրան պարտադրել այնպիսի ֆիզիկական վիճակ, որի պարագայում նրան շատ դժվար կլինի իրականացնել իր համար սովորական դարձած մարդասպանությունները, որոնք քաղաքական բառապաշարում վերածվել են հրադադարի խախտման։ Քաղաքական նոր իրավիճակ և սխալների սրբագրում կարող է լինել միայն այդ ճանապարհով՝ Ալիևին կամ Ադրբեջանը ֆիզիկական իմաստով նոր վիճակի մեջ դնելու գնով, որում նա ուղղակի չի կարողանա շարունակել մարդասպանությունը։ Սակայն այդ խնդիրը չի կարող լինել միայն ռազմական»,–գրում է թերթը։
