ԱՄՆ-ի եւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի զինվորականները ժամանել են Բաթում՝ նախապատրաստվելու համատեղ վարժանքներին

ԱՄՆ-ի եւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի զինվորական պապվիրակությունը ժամանել Է Վրաստան՝ ծանոթանալու Բաթումի ծովային նավահանգստի ենթակառուցվածքային հնարավորություններին, որով ամերիկյան ռազմական տեխնիկա Է հասցվելու մայիսին պլանավորված լայնածավալ համատեղ վարժանքների համար: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը:
«Նավահանգիստ այցի ընթացքում խոսվել Է մայիս ամսին պլանավորված «Արժանի գործընկեր» վարժանքների մասին եւ արծարծվել Է Բաթումի նավահանգստի օգնությամբ ռազմական տեխնիկայի ներկրման հարցը: Երկուստեք պատրաստակամություն Է հայտնվել խորացնելու համագործակցությունը լոգիստիկայի տեսանկյունից»,-ասված Է նախարարության հայտարարության մեջ:
«Մեր պետվիրակության կազմում սպաներ են ընգրկված ԱՄՆ-ի եվրոպական հրամանատարության կազմից, ԱՄՆ-ից, ՆԱՏՕ-ից եւ Եվրոպայի երկրներից: Մենք ժամանել ենք Վրաստան, որպեսզի ծանոթանանք Բաթումի նավահանգստի հնարավորություններին, տեսնելու՝ որքան արագ կկարողանանք տեխնիկա բերել»,-հայտարարել Է գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Ֆրեդերիկ բեն Հոջեսը:
Վրաց-ամերիկյան «Արժանի գործընկեր» ընդգրկուն զորավարժությունները տեղի են ունեցել անցյալ տարվա մայիսին վրացի 400 եւ ամերիկացի ավելի քան 200 զինվորականների մասնակցությամբ: Դրանք անցկացվել են Թբիլիսիի մերձակա Վազիանի ռազմակայանում:
Հատուկ անցյալ տարվա զորավարժությունների համար Վրաստան Էր հասցվել ամերիկյան ծանր ռազմական տեխնիկա, ներառյալ «Բրեդլի» հետեւակի 14 մարտական մեքենա, լոգիստիկայի ապահովման մեքենաներ, ինչպես նաեւ վարժանքների համար նախատեսված հանդերձանք: 2016 թվականին պլանավորված վարժանքների համար ԱՄՆ-ից կժամանեն մեքենայացված եւ հետեւակային ստորաբաժանումների զինծառայողներ: Այս տարի նույնպես վարժանքներում գործի կդրվեն Abrams ամերիկյան տանկեր, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
