 Հալեպը մոտեցել Է հումանիտար աղետի եզրին՝ քաղաքի շուրջը մարտական գործողությունների ծավալման պատճառով: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի (ԿԽՄԿ)՝ ապրիլի 28-ին հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ: Քաղաքի մեծ մասը ոչնչացված Է, ենթակառուցվածքը լրջորեն վնասված Է, դրա հետեւանքով բնակ իչներն ամիսներ շարունակ մնում են առանց ջրի եւ Էլեկտրականության:

Բռնության ծավալումը մահացու վտանգի Է ենթարկում միլիոնավոր մարդկանց՝ առանց օգնություն ստանալու հնարավորության, որոնցից շատերն ավելի վաղ հարկադրված են եղել լքելու իրենց տները եւ ապրում են շփման գծի մերձակայքում»,- ասված Է հայտարարության  մեջ:

Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեում հատուկ ուշադրություն են հրավիրել «Ալ Քուդս» հիվանդանոցի գնդակոծման վրա, որի աշխատանքին «Բժիշկներ առանց սահմանների» կազմակերպության հետ մեկտեղ աջակցություն Է ցույց տալիս նաեւ կոմիտեն, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
