Ապրիլյան պատերազմի առաջին օրերին հսկայական գործ արեցին հատուկ նշանակության հետախուզական ստորաբաժանումները, որոնց իրենց աշխատանքի մասին սովորաբար քիչ ենք խոսում, իսկ խոսելիս հատուկ զսպվածություն ցուցաբերում:

Մեդիամաքսի թղթակիցն Արցախի հարավում հանդիպել է ստորաբաժանման տղաներից մեկին՝ հետախույզ Դավիթին (անունը փոխված է), ով ծառայակից ընկերների հետ հանկարծակիի է բերել առաջ շարժվող հակառակորդին ու հետ շպրտել նրան: Հետախույզի հետ զրույցը ներկայացնում ենք առանց մեկնաբանության:

Ապրիլի լույս 2-ի գիշերը տագնապ ստացանք, լուսաբացին արդեն առաջնագծի հարավային (Ջաբրաիլի) ուղղությամբ տեղակայված դիրքերում էինք: Ողջ օրը կռիվը շարունակվեց: Հաջորդ գիշեր հակառակորդը կրկին կրակ էր վարում մեր ուղղությամբ:  Հետո, կարծելով, թե դիրքում մարդ չկա, նախօրեին իր կողմից վերցրած հայկական դիրքից, որն այժմ էլի մերն է, փորձում էր առաջ գալ, բայց հանկարծակիի եկավ. հատուկ մշակված ծրագրով հետ շպրտեցինք նրանց: Համակարգված աշխատեցինք՝ բոլորը մեկի պես ու մի նպատակի համար, ինչի արդյունքում թշնամին ջախջախվեց ու դիմեց փախուստի՝ կրելով բազմաթիվ կորուստներ:

Ցավոք, գործողության ժամանակ մեր խմբից երեք տղա զոհվեց: Անկախ տարիքից ու մասնագիտությունից՝ նրանց համար մեր աչքերում արցունք հայտնվեց, սրտում՝ թախիծ: Նրանք միշտ մեր կողքին կմնան: Միայն ֆիզիկապես ենք կորցրել մեր ընկերներին՝ ավելի  պարտավորվելով նրանց գործը պատվով շարունակելու հարցում: Հիմա ամենքս գործում ենք ոչ միայն մեր, այլեւ մեր զոհված ընկերների փոխարեն:
