«Զոհվածն իմ ընկերն է, կգնաք թաղմանը». Թալիշում նահատակված Գեւորգի վերջին հեռախոսազանգը

Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում մեծացած, սակայն հայրենիքի համար նահատակված 19-ամյա Գևորգ Վարդանյանի հայրը դժվարությամբ է խոսում իր միակ որդու մասին. նրա կորստի ցավը, հուզմունքը խեղդում են:

Հայրը միշտ մտածել է, թե ռուսական միջավայրում մեծացած տղան ինչպես է իրեն դրսեւորել Հայոց բանակում, սակայն կարճ ժամանակ անց հետաքրքրվել ու իմացել է, որ իրեն պահում է հայ տղամարդուն վայել ձեւով՝ ոչ մի նեղություն չքաշելով: Ավելին, հայերեն տառերը չիմացող, ռուսախոս տղան մի քանի օրում սովորել է իր զինվորական երդման տեքստը ու ապշեցրել բոլորին: Այնուհետ կարճ ժամանակում սկսել է հայերեն գրել ու կարդալ սովորել: 

«Վեց տարեկանից Ռուսաստանում է ապրել, բայց ուշքումիտքը հայրենիքն էր, էնպես էր ուզում գալ, ծառայել, հենց եկավ Հայաստան, միանգամից շրջապատ ստեղծեց, գժվում էր մեր երկրի համար: Գեւորգը գնդացրորդ էր, բոլորին հավասար կռվել է, ամենակարեւորը մեզ խայտառակ չի արել», -ասում է հայրը: 

Ապրիլի 3-ին, երբ թեժ մարտեր են ընթացել, Գևորգը զանգահարել է հարազատներին, տեղեկացրել է, որ զոհվածներից մեկը իմ ընկերն է, «Մուշ» թաղամասում են բնակվում ու հորդորել է անպայման գնալ հուղարկավորությանը: Սա եղել է նրա վերջին հեռախոսազանգը: Թեժ մարտերից հետո նրան գտել են չեզոք գոտում՝ երկու սպաների հետ նահատակված:

Գևորգ Վարդանյանը մի քանի անգամ իր ընկերների հետ է մղել տարբեր դիվերսիաներ՝ արժանանալով խրախուսանքների:  Հոր բնութագրմամբ, նա այնքան  ժիր էր, որ ճանաչողներն ապշած են, թե ինչպես կարող էր այդ ճկուն տղան զոհվել:
