Լոռվա ձորով, ավելի կոնկրետ՝ Դեբետի կիրճին զուգահեռ ձգվում է Հայաստանի հյուսիսը պետական սահամանին կապող Մ-6 մայրուղին:

Կառավարությունը դեռևս 2011 թվականի նոյեմբերին հավանություն է տվել ՀՀ հիմնական տարանցիկ մայրուղիների վերականգնման և վերակառուցման հայեցակարգին, որի մեծ մասը վերաբերում է Մ6 Վանաձոր-Ալավերդի ու մինչև Վրաստանի հետ պետական սահման հասնող միջպետական ճանապարհի վերականգնման ծրագրին:

Ծրագրին ընթացք տալու նպատակով 2013 թ.-ին Եվրոպական ներդրումային բանկը տրամադրել էր 1 մլն. եվրո տեխնիկական աջակցության դրամաշնորհ՝ ծրագրի տեխնիկա-տնտեսական հիմնավորման, բնապահպանական ազդեցության գնահատման և նախագծանախահաշվային փաստաթղթերի կազմման համար:

Նախնական գնահատմամբ՝ ծրագրի համար վարկային ներդրումները կկազմեն շուրջ 102 մլն. եվրո: Ծրագիրը ֆինանսավորվելու է Եվրոպական ներդրումային բանկի և Ասիական զարգացման բանկի կողմից համատեղ:

Ծրագրի նպատակն է վերականգնել Վանաձոր քաղաքի և Բագրատաշենի միջև ընկած մոտ 90 կիլոմետր երկարությամբ հատվածը: Ճանապարհն անցնում է Լոռու և Տավուշի մարզերի 33 համայնքներով:

Ճանապարհաշինության ծրագիրը կոնկրետ նախատեսում է հողային պաստառի վերականգնման աշխատանքներ, ճանապարհային պատվածքի վերակառուցման և նորոգման աշխատանքներ, այդ թվում՝ վերակառուցվող հատվածները կկազմեն շուրջ 69,32 կմ, նորոգվող հատվածները` շուրջ 20,75 կմ: Քանի որ ճանապարհը բավականին ծանրաբեռնված է աշխատում (այն ՀՀ-ն հարևան Վրաստանին կապող առաջնային նշանակության մայրուղին է) և ներկայումս գտնվում է ուղղակի բարոյալքված վիճակում, ուստի նախատեսվում է իրականացնել ասֆալտբետոնե պատվածքի տեղադրման աշխատանքներ, որոնք կկազմեն 210 389 քառակուսի մետր:

Ռելիեֆային բարդ ու խճճված պայմանների պատճառով՝ մայրուղին ունի բազմաթիվ կամուրջներ և ուղեանցներ, ինչպես նաև՝ թունելներ, որոնք նշված շինաշխատանքների ընթացքում նույնպես պետք է վերանորոգվեն և կառուցվեն նորերը: Ընդհանուր հիմնանորոգման աշխատանքների ընթացքում նախատեսվում է երեք կամուրջների քանդում, նորի կառուցում և ինը կամուրջների հիմնանորոգում: Աշխատանքներ պետք է տարվեն նաև մայրուղում առկա երեք թունելների վերակառուցման և վերանորոգման վրա:

Համաշխարհային բանկի հատկացումներով 2014-15թթ-ին իրականացվեց Լոռվա տարածաշրջանում մեկ այլ` Ագարակ-Օձուն-Մ-6 ավտոճանապարհի վերանորոգումը, իսկ բոլորովին վերջերս վերակառուցվել է Լոռու մարզի մեկ այլ՝ Ստեփանավան-Գոգարան ստրատեգիական այլընտրանքային ճանապարհը, որը ՀՀ-ն կապում է Վրաստանի Շուլավեր բնակավայրի հետ:

Համաձայն ֆինանսական պայմանագրի՝ Մ6-ի հիմնական շինարարական աշխատանքները կտևեն երեք տարի՝ 2017-2020 թվականների ընթացքում:
