Երեկ գրել էինք 20-ամյա Սարգիս Գասպարյանի հերոսական քայլի մասին: Քիչ առաջ նրա քույրը  Իրավաբան.net-ին հայտնեց, որ եղբայրը մահացել է: Նա մեզ է փոխանցել իր բաց նամակը՝  պաշտպանության նախարարին.

«Մեծարգո նախարար,

Ձեզ է դիմում Թալիշում ծանր վիրավորում ստացած, 20-ամյա վաղամեռիկ Սարգիս Արթուրի Գասպարյանի քույրը՝ Ինգա Շիբիլիա Գասպարյանը: Չգիտեմ սա դիմում է, թե խնդրանք, կամ միգուցե ուղղակի զրույց իմ անմեղ, քաջ ու առյուծասիրտ, իմ ընկերասեր, ընկերոջ համար կյանքը տված եղբորս մասին: Կարծում եմ անիմաստ է նշել, թե ինչ ցավ, տառապանք ու վիշտ պատճառեց իմ ընտանիքին, գերդաստանին, բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր իրեն ճանաչում էին, և ինչու չէ, նաև Ձեզ ու ողջ հայ ազգին , մեծասիրտ եղբորս մահը: Մեծ դժվարությամբ եմ գրում այս նամակը, քանզի ամեն մի տառ գրելիս արցյունքները գլորվում են աչքերիցս: Բայց պե՛տք է գրեմ: Պետք է իմանաք նրա հերոսության մասին: Սարգիսը ավարտել էր ժամկետային ծառայությունը սույն թվականի փետրոարի 5-ին, բայց ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ կրկին վերադարձել էր դիրքեր՝ թշնամուց պաշտպանելու իր հայրենի հողը և արդեն 20 օր գտնվում էր դիրքերում։ Ցավոք, ապրիլի 29-ի լույս 30-ի գիշերը, երեկոյան ժամին թշնամին նորից կրակ սկսեց: Եղբայրս՝ տեսնելով թե ինչպես իրենից ոչ հեռու ընկերը՝ Վազգեն Հենրիկի Հարությունյանը ընկավ՝ առանց վարանելու նետվեց ընկերոջն օգնության: Ցավոք, Վազգենը մահացու վիրավորում էր ստացել, և փրկելն արդեն անհնար էր: Հենց այդ պահին թշնամու գնդակը վիրավորեց նրան՝ սկզբից վիրավորվեց ոտքի մասում, այնուհետև ՝ որովայնի շրջանում՝ փամփուշտները մի կողմից մտնել, մյուս կողմից դուրս են եկել, ինչի հետևանքով ներքին բոլոր օրգանները, բացի, սրտից վնասվել էին:

Ինչպես պատմում է նրան փրկած Սասունը, Սարգիսը չի էլ հասկացել, որ որովայնի մասում վիրավորում է ստացել, նրան թվացել է, թե ոտքի վիրավորումից ու ցավից է թուլության զգացողությունը: Սասունը հարցրել է. «Սաք, ո՞նց ես, վախենու՞մ ես»: Սարգիսը պատասխանել է. «Չէ, լավ եմ, ուղղակի փորիս մասում ինչ-որ տաքություն եմ զգում: Ինձ մի քիչ թույլ եմ զգում» : Բայց Սասունը հասկանում էր ինչու է Սարգիսը փորի մասում տաքություն զգում: Սարգիս Գասպարյանը վիրավորվեց երեկոյան 10:20-ի սահմաններում, իսկ հիվանդանող հասավ 00:40-ին, որտեղ էլ փ րոպե անց բժիշկները շտապ վիրահատեցին: Մարտակերտում նրան վիրահատելուց հետո միայն, երբ վիճակը մի փոքր կայունացավ, նրան տեղափոխեցին Ստեփանակերտի հիվանդանոց։

Սարգիսի վիճակը շարունակում էր մնալ ծանր, բայց համարյա 36 ժամ դիմացավ վերակենդանացման բաժնում, ինչից հետո վիճակը կտրուկ վատացավ: Բժիշկներն էլ չհասկացան ինչումն է խնդիրը, բայց շուտափույթ կերպով տարան վիրահատելու: Ցավոք, այս ամենը ապարդյուն էր: Սարգիս Գասպարյանը մահացավ մայիսի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը: Մեծարգո նախարար, միակ խնդրանքս այն է, որ ներկա լինեք հողին հանձնելու արարողությանը, ու հերոսի շքանշան պարգևվեք, որովհետև նա է մեր իրական հերոսը: Ու  ծնողներիս օգնեք աշխատանքի որոնման գործընթացում, քանզի հայրս առողջական խնդիրներ ունի, իսկ մորս աշխատավարձը կազմում է ընհամենը 24.000 դրամ, որով պետք է և՛ ընտանիք պահի, և՛ վարկը փակի: Հուսով եմ խոսքս Ձեզ կհասնի, և Դուք անտարբեր չեք անցնի մեր հերոսի կողքով»:
