Ադրբեջանական ANS հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցի ժամանակ Ադրբեջանի նախագահի աշխատակազմի ղեկավարի տեղակալ, արտաքին կապերի բաժնի պետ Նովրուզ Մամեդովը հայտարարել է, թե «Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության գոտում իրավիճակի սրացումը չի ազդել Ադրբեջանի հեղինակության վրա և որ աճել են Ադրբեջանի հետ համագործակցել ու երկրում ներդրում անել ցանկացողների թիվը.
«Ադրբեջանի համբերությունը կարող է հատել: Դա տեսնում են, հաշվի են առնում և պետք է հաշվի առնեն բոլոր կողմերը»:
Ուշագրավ է, որ դրանից անմիջապես առաջ Moody’s միջազգային վարկանիշային գործակալությունը Ադրբեջանին շնորհել է բացասական կանխատեսման վարկանիշ` կապված աճող ռիսկերի հետ: Moody’s-ն ընդգծել էր, որ աշխարհաքաղաքական ռիսկերն աճել են ոչ վաղ անցյալում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հակամարտության վերաէսկալացման հետ:
APA լրատվական գործակալությունը հայտնել է, որ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը կնոջ Մեհրիբան Ալիևայի հետ միասին երեկ այցելել է Թարթառի, Բարդայի ու Աղդամի շրջաններում տեղակայված զորամասեր:
Պաշտպանության նախարար Զաքիր Հասանովը գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար Իլհամ Ալիևին իրազեկել է շփման գծի շուրջ տիրող վերջին իրավիճակի մասին: Ալիևը զննել է զորամասերի շտաբները, ճաշարաններն ու զորանոցները և նվերներ է բաժանել զինծառայողներին:
Ալիևը նաև հանդիպել ու շփվել է տեղաբնակների հետ և կարգադրել է շուտափույթ վերականգնել հայկական հրետանու հարվածներից ավերված ու վնասված տները:
Այցի արդյունքներով Ալիևը Հայաստանին մեղադրել է «բանակցային գործընթացից շեղվելու» համար, արդարացված է համարել բանակաշինության վրա կատարված ծախսերը, հայտարարել է, թե Ադրբեջանը «երբեք չի հաշտվի» ներկայիս իրավիճակի հետ:
