Երբեմն թվում է, թե հասուն մարդկանց զարմացնելն անչափ բարդ գործ է: Սակայն իրականում կան բազմաթիվ հետաքրքրաշարժ փաստեր, որոնց գոյության մասին գիտեն շատ քչերը, գրում է fishki.net-ը։
Մարդու և շան ուղեղներն ունեն լսած հնչյունները «վերծանելու» ունակություն։ Շները կարողանում են տարբերակել մարդու ծիծաղը և մի շարք այլ զգացողություններ։
Իտալիայում գտնվող Տրևի շատրվանի ավազանից ամեն տարի մաքրելու ժամանակ հանում են մոտ 1 մլն եվրոյի մետաղադրամներ, որոնք նետում են այդտեղ այցելած զբոսաշրջիկները։ Այդ ամբողջ գումարն ուղղվում է աղքատներին։
1993-ին Աում Սինրիկյո ճապոնական աղանդի անդամները երկու օրվա ընթացքում փորձել են սիբիրյան խոցի հարուցիչներ տարածել Տոկիոյում, սակայն նրանք մարդու հարուցիչի փոխարեն օգտագործել են բակտերիալ «շտամը», որի արդյունքում մարդիկ իմունինետ են ձեռք բերել հիվանդության նկատմամբ։ Եթե նրանք ճիշտ հարուցիչներն ընտրեին հարյուր հազարավոր մարդիկ կզոհվեին։ 
Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ զինվորների մոտ առաջացած հոգեբանական տրավմայի սիմպտոմներն ընդունում էին որպես «թուլամորթություն և բարոյական անկում», որի պատճառով ենթարկում էին մահապատժի։ Զինվորները հիմնականում պատերազմի դաժանություններին ականատես լինելով ստանում էին ծանր հոգեկան տրավմա, որի ժամանակ նրանք ընկճվում էին, խլանում կամ փայտանում էին, կամ էլ հակառակը՝ չափազանց ակտիվ էին դառնում և ճչում էին։
Հարավսլավիայի թագավոր Ալեքսանդր Առաջինը հրաժարվում էր մասնակցել որևէ հանրային միջոցառման, որն անցկացվում էր երեքշաբթի օրը, քանի որ իր ընտանիքի երեք անդամները մահացել էին շաբաթվա հենց այդ օրը։ Նա երկար ժամանակ անց որոշեց վերջ դնել սնահավատությանը և մի երեքշաբթի օր պաշտոնական այցով ուղևորվեց Մարսել (Ֆրանսիա)։ Նրան այդ օրը սպանել է մի ահաբեկիչ։
