«Հայաստանը թերևս այն եզակի երկրներից է, որտեղ ավտովթարները՝ հատկապես մահվան ելքով տարեկան կտրվածքով ահռելի մեծ թիվ են կազմում։ Իհարկե, պատճառները տարբեր կարող են լինել։ Բայց հստակ է, որ վարորդները շատ հաճախ ոչ սթափ են ղեկին նստում, վարորդական իրավունքի վկայականները ստանում են շատ հեշտ՝ իրականում վարել չիմանալով (երբեմն գնում են այն), և ամենակարևորը՝ ավտոճանապարհներին ՃԵ անհրաժեշտ ցուցանակները երբեմն բացակայում են։ Ասել է, թե բոլոր դժբախտ դեպքերում ճանապարհային ոստիկանության աշխատակիցներն ունեն իրենց մեղքի բաժինը։
Վարդենիս-Մարտունի ավտոճանապարհի 27-րդ կիլոմետրը (Ծովակ համայնքի մոտակայքում), կարելի է ասել, անիծված Է։ Վերջին 10 տարվա ընթացքում հենց այս հատվածում մոտ երկու տասնյակ մարդ Է զոհվել ավտովթարի հետևանքով։ Սակայն ճանապարհային ոստիկանությունը տարիներ շարունակ անհաղորդ Է իրավիճակին։ Չկա որևէ զգուշացնող ցուցանակ, որ այդ հատվածը, թեև հարթ, ուղիղ ճանապարհ Է թվում, իրականում կտրուկ շրջապտույտ Է, և պետք Է կտրուկ արգելափակումներով շարունակել երթևեկությունը։ Հետաքրքիր է՝քանի զոհ դեռ պետք Է ունենանք այդ հատվածում, որ ՀՀ ՃՈ պետ Արմեն Հակոբյանն արթնանա նիրհից և ասֆալտի ու «գոլդ համարանիշների» բիզնես գործունեությունից զատ նաև ապահովի մարդկանց անվտանգ երթևեկության համար հույժ անհրաժեշտ նախազգուշական ցուցանակները։ Տարածքին անծանոթ մարդիկ, երբ մի փոքր արագությունը գերազանցում են, անհնար Է դառնում ավտովթարից խուսափելը։ Անցած տարվա ընթացում միայն 4 զինվորականներ են զոհվել այդ վայրում։ Ու եթե արագաչափ դնելու իմաստը մեր երկրում ոչ թե փող շորթելն Է, այլ վթարները կանխելը, ապա այդքան զոհերից հետո առաջնահերթ պետք Էր հենց այդ հատվածում դնել նման սարքերը։
Մայիսի 1-ին նույն 27-րդ կմ-ի հատվածում 6 հոգի զոհվեց վթարի հետևանքով։ Այսօր 6-ին Էլ հողին կհանձնեն։ Աստված լուսավորի նրանց հոգիները»,–գրում է թերթը։
