եղբայրներիդ ընկած համրես՝
հենված կոտրած քո նիզակին,
երբ որ վերքերդ լիզելով
դու նշմարես ծխի միջով
բծերը արևածագի,
կհասկանաս՝ ուժեղ չէ նա,
ով վերջին զարկը հասցրեց,
այլ նա, ով որ թեկուզ ընկավ,
կամ խարխափեց ու սայթաքեց,
սակայն նորից ոտքի կանգնեց։
Երբ կորստի բեռան ներքո
կդողդողան ծնկները քո
կյանքի փոշոտ կրկեսներում,
ու երբ դեմքին բանտապանի
ճարպոտ ծիծաղը կսառի
երբ որ դու չես հայցի ներում,
կհասկանաս՝ ուժեղ չէ նա,
ով երկնքից աստղեր պոկեց,
այլ նա, ով անդունդի վրա
թեքված՝ աչքերը չփակեց
ու մինչև վերջ առաջ քայլեց։
Ու երբ երկիռդ ձայնազուրկ
նժույգի պես շնչակտուր
նայի ուղիղ քո աչքերին,
ու ցնծացող ճիչերն անդեմ
այդ լռության տակ ճզմվեն
լպիրշ խրախճանքի ժամին,
կհասկանաս՝ ուժեղ չէ նա,
ով վիթխարի ծառը կտրեց
այլ նա, ով անապատը սարթ
իր ափերի միջից ջրեց,
ազատության ծիլ ապրեցրեց․․․
