Պատմության տարբեր ժամանակաշրջաններում Հայաստան են այցելել բազմաթիվ հեղինակավոր անձինք, ովքեր իրենց այցով աշխարհի ուշադրությունն են սեւեռել մեր երկրի վրա։ Նրանց թվում քիչ չեն նաեւ հեղինակավոր կանայք։

Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Ինդիրա Գանդին 1976թ. հունիսի 11-ին այցելել էր Հայաստան։Պատմության մեջ ամենից երկար կառավարած կին վարչապետին դիմավորեց Հայաստանի Կոմկուսի Կենտկոմի առաջին քարտուղար Կարեն Դեմիրճյանը։

Այցի ժամանակ նա եղավ Մատենադարանում, Մերգելյանի ինստիտուտում, Էջմիածնի Սուրբ Հռիփսիմե տաճարում։ Մեկնելիս նրան ճանապարհում էին հազարավոր երեւանցիներ։ Նա հիացած էր հայերի ընդունելությամբ։

Մայր Թերեզայի այցը Հայաստան պայմանավորված էր Գյումրիի երկրաշարժով։ Նա Հայաստան ժամանեց դեկտեմբերի 9-ին։

Մայր Թերեզան եղել է Գյումրիում, այցելել Երեւանի 3-րդ մանկական եւ հանրապետական հիվանդանոցներ։ Մեկնումից առաջ` դեկտեմբերի 20-ին նա եղել է նաեւ Էջմիածնում, հանդիպել Վազգեն Ա Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին։

Մեծ Բրիտանիայի միակ կին վարչապետը Հայաստանում է եղել 1990թ. հունիսին։ Նա Հայաստան է այցելել Խորհրդային Միություն կատարած այցի շրջանակներում եւ եղել է միայն Լենինականում (Գյումրի)։

Թետչերը Գյումրիում մասնակցել է Լորդ Բայրոնի անվան դպրոցի բացման արարողությանը, որը բրիտանական կողմը կառուցել ու նվիրել է Գյումրիի երկրաշարժից տուժածներին։

1993 թվականի ապրիլին, անսպասելիորեն Երեւան ժամանեց ամերիկյան դերասանուհի եւ երգչուհի Շերը` Շերիլին Սարգսյանը:

Այցի ընթացքում նա եղել է Էջմիածնում, Երեւանի պետական համալսարանում, Ազգային թանգարանում, մանկատանն ու անապոհով ընտանիքների կացարաններում։ Ավելին՝ նա խոշոր գումար է փոխանցել Հայաստանի ֆոնդին, որը հումանիտար օգնություն է հատկացրել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնակիչներին։

ԱՄՆ նախկին պետքարտուղար, ԱՄՆ առաջին կին սենատոր Հիլարի Քլինթոնը Հայաստան է այցելել երկու անգամ։Նրա առաջին այցը եղել է 2010-ին՝Արեւելյան Եվրոպայի եւ Հարավային Կովկասի երկրներ այցի շրջանակներում։

clinton21Երկրորդ այցը եղել է երկու տարի անց։ Հայաստան կատարած այցից հետո նա մեկնել է Վրաստան, այնուհետեւ Ադրբեջան։

Այցի ժամանակ Քլինթոնը եղել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդում, Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ եկեղեցում,  Նորավանքում։

Ցեղասպանության հարյուրամյակի նախաշեմին նախորդ տարի Հայաստանում էին Քարդաշյան քույրերը։ Հայաստանում ութ օրվա ընթացքում նրանք եղել են Գառնիում, Գեղարդում, Հաղթանակի զբոսայգում, Կասկադի համալիրում, Կարապի լճում, Գյումրիում։ Բացի այդ, այցելել երեւանյան տարբեր ռեստորաններ ու սրճարաններ։ Նրանց այցի շնորհիվ աշխարհը սեւեռվել էր մեր երկրի վրա։

Աշխարհահռչակ դերասանուհին նախորդ տարվա ամռանը «Ոսկե ծիրան» կինոփառատոնի շրջանակներում Հայաստանում էր։ Փառատոնի ժամանակ նա արժանացել է հատուկ մրցանակի. Փարաջանովյան տալերի։ Իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում նա խոստովանել է, որ սիրահարվել է Երեւանին եւ մտադիր է հետագայում եւս այցելել այստեղ։
