Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադը Հաղթանակի օրվա կապակցությամբ ռուսական պետության ղեկավար Վլադիմիր Պուտինին հղած հեռագրում Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում Ստալինգրադի սխրագործությունը համեմատել Է Հալեպի ու Սիրիայի իրադրության հետ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
1943 թվականի փետրվարին Ստալիգրադում խորհրդային զորքերի հաղթանակը բեկումնային դարձավ պատերազմում:
«Ստալինգրադը մոտ Է Հալեպի եւ սիրիական բոլոր քաղաքների իրադրությանը: Սիրիան ձգտելու Է ջախջախել ագրեսորներին ու վերջնական հաղթանակ տանել նրանց նկատմամբ»,-հեռագրի տեքստը մեջբերում Է SANA պետական գործակալությունը:
Ահաբեկիչների կողմից Հալեպի զանգվածային ականակոծումներն ու հրթիռակոծումները շարունակվում Էին մեկ շաբաթից ավելի: Զոհվել են 100-ից ավելի խաղաղ քաղաքացիներ: Ահաբեկիչները արեւմտյան ուղղությամբ քաղաքի վրա գրոհելու երկու լայնածավալ փորձ են ձեռնարկել:
Սիրիական բանակին հաջողվել Է հետ մղել հարձակումները՝ կիրառելով օդուժ:
Լույս մայիսի 5-ի գիշերը բանակի հրամանատարությունը հայտարարել Է Հալեպում 48 ժամով «լռության ռեժիմ» սկսելու մասին: Նշվում Է, որ ահաբեկիչներն արդեն խախտել են զինադադարը, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
