Աշխարհի ամենա «կանաչ» ավիաընկերությունն Է ճանաչվել Է ֆիննական Finnair-ը, որն ամենաքիչն Է աղտոտում շրջակա միջավայրը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: Վարկանիշը կազմելիս հաշվի են առնվել ինքնաթիռների կողմից ածխաթթու գազի արտանետումների վերաբերյալ 2014 թվականի տվյալները, որոնք առաջանում են վառելիքի այրումից: Ուորիքի համ ալսարանի (Մեծ Բրիտանիա) հետազոտողները վերլուծել են աշխարհի 20 խոշոր ավիափոխադրողների աշխատանքը: Ուսումնասիրության համառոտ արդյունքները հրապարակել Է Travel + Leisure հրատարակությունը:

Հետազոտության հեղինակներից մեկը՝ Ֆրեդերիկ Դալմանը, հայտարարել Է, որ Finnair-ին նման արդյունքների Է հաջողվել հասնել այն բանի շնորհիվ, որ ընկերությունը շահագործում Է բավականին նոր եւ Էկոլոգիական ինքնաթիռներ:
