Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանում Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցն առաջ տանելու համար անհրաժեշտ է այնտեղ համապատասխան մթնոլորտ ձևավորել: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում նշեց Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ժամանակ» թերթի գլխավորխմբագիր Արա Գոչունյանը:

«Խորհրդարանական աշխատանքն այնպիսին է, որ այնտեղ մի մթնոլորտ պետք է հասունանա, որպեսզի դրա հիման վրա ինչ-որ խնդիր լուծվի: Թուրքիայում հայկական խնդիրներից որևէ մեկը բացառված է, որ լուծվի, եթե պարտադրանքի տպավորություն առաջանա: Մենք կարող ենք մեր առաջնահերթ խնդիրների լուծմանը հասնել որքան հնարավոր է Թուրքիայում կոնսենսուս ստեղծելով: Հետևաբար, պարտադրանքով որևէ հարց չի լուծվի: Ինչ վերաբերում է հայ պատգամավոր Գարո Փայլանի հետ կապված վերջին զարգացումներին, ապա կարող եմ ասել, որ դա իր ընտրած գործելաոճն է»,-ասաց Արա Գոչունյանը:

Լրագրողների ան հարցին, թե արդյոք խորհրդարանում կազմակերպված ծեծկռտուքը կապ ունե՞ր Կարո Փայլանի ազգային պատկանելության հետ, Արա Գոչունյանը նշեց, որ եղած խնդիրները միջկուսակցական են:

«Կուսակցությունների միջև լարվածություն կա, նրանք ցանկանում են ցույց տալ իրենց ուժը, նոր սկսեն բանակցել:  Այստեղ եղան բռնության երևույթներ, որոնք, իհարկե, անհանգստացնում են: Խորհրդարանականները չեն ընտրվել իրենց ազգային պատկանելության համար, այլ Թուրքիայի քաղաքացի լինելու համար: Այնտեղ կուսակցությունների միջև եղած լարվածությունն ազգային պատկանելիությանը վերագրելը մեզ առողջ դիտարկումների չի տանի: Ուրիշ անձնավորություններ էլ կան, ովքեր խորհրդարանում սուր ելույթներ են ունենում»,-ավելացրեց Արա Գոչունյանը:

Անդրադառնալով ապրիլի 24-ին Էրդողանի ելույթին, որտեղ հիշեցվում էր Թուրքիայում հայկական համայնքի առկայության մասին, Արա Գոչունյանը նշեց, որ դա ուղղված է ներքին լսարանին:

«Ճիշտ է, Թուրքիայի իշխանությունը բարձրացնում է այնտեղ հաստատված Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների հարցը: Հայաստանն այսօր արտագաղթի հարց ունի, և դա խոցելի երևույթ է: Թուրքիայի իշխանությունն էլ շեշտադրում է անում այս խոցելի կետի վրա, լինի դա ապրիլի 24-ին կամ ինչ-որ այլ օր: Բայց ասեմ մի բան, Թուրքիայում հայ չլինելը տեղի իշխանությունների շահերից չի բխում: Եթե ընդունենք Էրդողանի ներկայացրած թվերը, ապա Թուրքիայում ապրող 50 հազար հայի գոյությունը բացարձակապես չի խանգարում իշխանություններին: Հավատացած եղեք, եթե Հայաստանից արտագաղթած մարդկանց այնտեղ Õ �ինելը չբխեր Թուրքիայի շահերից,  ապա հիմա այնտեղ 5 անձ էր չէր լինի: Կարծում եմ, որ Էրդողանի նման շեշտադրումը ինչ-որ տեղ ներքին լսարանի համար է»,-հավելեց Արա Գոչունյանը:
