Տիգրանուհի Դավթյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Հայաստանյան մեդիա դաշտում և հասարակության լայն շրջանում քննարկվող և հետաքրքրություն, ինչու չէ նաև անհանգստություն առաջացնող թիվ մեկ խնդիրը շարունակում է մնալ Արցախի հիմնախնդրը: Գոյություն ունեցող տեսակետները շատ հաճախ հակասական են: Ի վերջո բանակցե՞լ, թե՞ պատրաստվել պատերազմական լայնածավալ գործողությունների…

Ժամանակակից աշխարհում պետությունների շփումների խիստ ինտենսիվացումն ու փոխկապակցվածությունը հանգեցրել է կոմպրոմիսային վարքի միջոցով համաձայնության գալու անհրաժեշտության: Հետևաբար անհրաժեշտ է տիրապետել բանակցային որոշակի հմտությունների, որոնք առավել դյուրին կդարձնեն միմյանց միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորումը:
Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությանն անդրադառնալիս անհնար է շրջանցել Քի Ուէսթը:

2001 թվականի հունվարի 26-ին Փարիզում կայացան Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և Հեյդար Ալիևի բանակցությունները` Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ժակ Շիրակի մասնակցությամբ: Նույն թվականի ապրիլին Քի Ուէսթում սկսվեցին ՀՀ և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների բանակցությունները` ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների մասնակցությամբ: Բանակցությունների բացմանը մասնակցում էր ԱՄՆ պետքրատուղար Քոլին Փաուէլը: Հանդիպման սկզբում Հ.Ալիևը հանդես եկավ Հայաստանի և միջնորդների հասցեին ուղղված կոշտ քննադատությամբ: Նա ՀՀ-ին անվանեց «ագրեսոր և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում անջատողականության կազմակերպիչ», իսկ միջնորդներին մեղադրեց նրանում, որ նրանք «պասիվ և սպասողական» դիրք են որդեգրել:

Ալիևը խոսել է ավելի քան կես ժամ` ապշեցնելով միջնորդներին և ներկա լրագրողներին: Երկու րոպե տևողությամբ պատասխանում Ռ.Քոչարյանն ասել է. «Ես այստեղ չեմ եկել քարոզչությամբ զբաղվելու համար»: 
ԱՄՆ-ի մետքարտուղար Քոուլին Փաուէլը հայտարարել է, որ «բանակցությունները շատ դժվար ընթացք են ունենալու»: 
Քի Ուէսթում կայացած բանակցությունների ժամանակ ռուսաստանյան պատվիրակությունը գլխավորող ՌԴ ԱԳ առաջին փոխնախարար Վյաչեսլավ Տրուբնիկովը հայտարարել է. «Ռուսաստանը, ԱՄՆ-ը և Ֆրանսիան «ուս-ուսի աշխատում են»` ձգտելով նպաստել ղարաբաղյան խնդրի կարգավորմանը, սակայն «հակամարտության լուծման բանալին գտնվում է Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի ձեռքերում»:

Բավականին հետաքրքիր և շատ ծանոթ ձևակերպումներ ու տեսակետներ են, որոնք 15 տարվա ընթացքում չեն կորցրել իրենց նույնականությունը:

Համանախագահները Քի Ուէսթում համատեղ կոմյունիկե ընդունեցին, որում հայտարարեցին ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման վերաբերյալ «նոր համապարփակ առաջարկի» վրա աշխատանք սկսելու մտադրության մասին: «Չորս օր տեւած ինտենսիվ քննարկումների ընթացքում նախագահները դրսեւորեցին բարի կամք եւ հակամարտության փոխզիջումների հիման վրա լուծելու հստակ հավատարմություն», - ասվում էր կոմյունիկեում:

Որոշ ժամանակ անց Ադրբեջանի ԱԳ նախարար Գուլիևը հայտարարեց, որ «ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության «փարիզյան սկզբունքներ գոյություն չունեն»: Գուլիևը «հայկական կողմի հերթական հորինվածք» անվանեց «փարիզյան սկզբունքների մասին» հայտարարությունները: 
Մեկնաբանելով Գուլիևի հայտարարությունը, ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ն հայտարարել էր, որ իրականությունը կայանում է նրանում, որ Փարիզում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների երկու հանդիպումներից հետո միջնորդները հնարավոր համարեցին բանակցություններ կազմակերպել Քի Ուէսթում` նախագահների պայմանավորվածությունները թղթին փոխանցելու նպատակով, որն էլ անվավում է փարիզյան սկզբունքներ կամ պայմանավորվածություններ:
