Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն իր ուղերձն է հղել Հաղթանակիև խաղաղության տոնի առթիվ։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից։
Ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, նշվում է.«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ ձեզ Հաղթանակի և խաղաղության տոնի առթիվ:
Մեր ժողովրդի համար Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմը դարձավ իսկապես Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմ: Բազում հայորդիներ կռվեցին իրենց հայրենիքի ազատության և լուսավոր ապագայի համար: Պայքարեցին բոլոր ճակատներում, մարտի դաշտում և թիկունքում: Այսօր մենք հարգանքի և երախտագիտության տուրք ենք մատուցում մեր հերոս նախնիների պայծառ հիշատակին, ովքեր հարյուր հազարներով ընկան չարիքի դեմ պայքարում: Նաև հարգանքի և երախտագիտության տուրք ենք մատուցում ավաղ արդեն փոքրաթիվ այն վետերաններին, ովքեր այսօր էլ մեր կողքին են:
Սա ոչ միայն ռազմական հաղթանակի, այլև խաղաղության տոն է: Խորհրդային Միության մյուս ժողովուրդների հետ միասին մենք շատ թանկ գին վճարեցինք այդ հաղթանակի համար` վաստակելով խաղաղություն: Այդ խաղաղությունը մեզ պատմական հնարավորություն տվեց որպես ազգ կրկին ոտքի կանգնելու տնտեսապես, մշակութապես և քաղաքականապես: Եվ մենք գիտենք այդ խաղաղության գինը:
Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Մայիսի 9-ը մեզ համար վերաիմաստավորվեց և վերարժևորվեց 1992 թվականին Շուշիի ազատագրմամբ: Արցախի դարավոր մշակութային կենտրոնը, որ ավանդաբար լույս, կրթություն, գիտություն և արվեստ էր սփռել իր շուրջը, վերածվել էր շուրջբոլորը մահ ու ավեր սփռող հրեշավոր կրակակետի: Շուշիի ազատագրումը մեր կյանքի և մահվան հարցն էր, և մենք նույն մայիսի 9-ին կրկնեցինք մեր հայրերի ու պապերի սխրանքը՝ բեկելով պատերազմի ընթացքը:
Այդ օրվանից 24 տարի անց՝ անցյալ ամիս, արդեն Շուշին ազատագրած ազատամարտիկների զավակները կրկնեցին իրենց հայրերի սխրանքը: Եվ նրանք դա արեցին ոչ թե ֆիդայական ջոկատների, այլ արդեն կայացած կանոնավոր բանակի կազմում: Նրանք ապացուցեցին, որ հայ ժողովրդի յուրաքանչյուր նոր սերունդ պատրաստ է նորովի և ավելի վստահորեն պաշտպանելու իր անվտանգությունը, խաղաղությունը և իրավունքները:
