«Նախ շնորհավորում եմ բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր կարողացան վերապրել 2-րդ համաշխարհային պատերազմը, բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր այդ տարիներին գտնվեցին հայ ժողովրդի այն 600 հազարանոց հատվածի մեջ, որից 300 հազարը ռազմաճակատում կնքեցին իրենց մահկանացուները, իսկ մյուս 300 հազարը վերադարձան հայրենիք մեկ գիտակցումով՝ չկա ավելի մեծ սրբություն, քան հայրենիքի գաղափարն է: Նրանք այդ նույն ոգով դաստիարակելով իրենց զավակներին՝ կարողացան հիմք դնել արցախյան այն հերոսների համար, ովքեր «Մահն իմացյալ՝ անմահություն է» գաղափարն իրոգործեցին Արցախի հողի վրա: Նրանք ու այսօրվա սերունդը շարունակում են ապացուցել, երբ հայը անմնացորդ տրվում է հայրենիքին, անհնարին է նրան ծնկի բերել,- նշեց Հայր Կոմիտասն ու շարունակեց.
