 Միլիարդատեր Դոնալդ Թրամփը, որը փաստորեն իր համար երաշխավորել Է Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից որպես ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի պաշտոնի թեկնածու առաջադրվելը, ԱՄՆ-ի զինծառայողների շրջանում իր ժողովրդականությամբ ավելի քան կրկնակի գերազանցում Է իր առավել համանական մրցակցին՝ Հիլարի Քլինթոնին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայում են Military Times մասնագիտացած հրատարակության հարցման տվյալները, որոնք հրապարակվել են մայիսի 9-ին:

«Գործող զինծառայողների մեծամասնությունը, որպես ԱՄՆ-ի հաջորդ նախագահի, նախապատվությունը տվել Է Դոնալդ Թրամփին, որն ավելի քան կրկնակի առաջ Է անցել իր մրցակցուհուց՝ Հիլարի Քլինթոնից»,-ասված Է հոդվածում: Միլիարդատիրջը երկրի գլխավոր հրամանատար Է ցանկանում տեսնել զինվորական ծառայության մեջ գտնվող ամերիկացիների 54 տոկոսը, նախկին պետքարտուղարին աջակցել Է հարցվածների միայն 25 տոկոսը: Ընդ որում՝ հարցման մասնակիցների 21 տոկոսը հայտնել Է, որ չի պատրաստվում մասնակցել ընտրություններին, որոնք նշանակված են նոյեմբերի 8-ին:

Հարցմանը, որն անցկացվել Է մայիսի 3-ից 6-ը, մասնակցել Է զինվորական ծառայություն կատարող կամ ռեզերվում եւ ԱՄՆ-ի ազգային գվարդիայում գտնվող 951 ամերիկացի: Հարցվածների 66 տոկոսը շարքայիններ Էին կամ սերժանտներ, մնացածը՝ սպաներ:

Մարտին կատարված համանման հարցման ընթացքում ԱՄՆ-ի զինծառայողները նույնպես նախապատվությունը տվել Էին միլիարդատիրոջը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
