«Երեկ «ժողովուրդ»–ը ահազանգ ստացավ, որ Արթիկի քրեակատարողական հիմնարկում կալանավայրի ղեկավարների և դատապարտյալների միջև միջադեպ է տեղի ունեցել։ Մեզ հասած լուրերի համաձայն՝ Արթիկի ՔԿՀ պետ Արտյոմ Մխոյանը, նրա տեղակալը, անվտանգության աշխատակիցը վիճաբանել են ՔԿՀ-ի դատապարտյալներ Արման Խալաթյանի, Գարիկ Սապոյանի, Գևորգ Մկրտչյանի հետ։ ՔԿՀ-ում խոսակցություններ կան, որ միջադեպը սկսվել է այն բանից, որ ՔԿՀ ղեկավարությունը նրանց հանձնարարական է տվել, ինչը հրաժարվել են կատարել տղաները։
Իրավիճակն այն աստիճանի է բարդացել, որ նշյալ դատապարտյալները, փակվելով խցում, փորձել են ինքնավնասել իրենց։

Այս պատմության մեջ ամենատարօրինակն այն է, որ ՔԿՀ դատապարտյալների պատմելով՝ միջադեպին խառնվել է Արթիկի ՔԿՀ-ի, այսպես ասած, «զոն նայող» ոմն Նարեկը։ Ըստ դատապարտյալների՝ վերջինս ոչ թե պաշտպանել է դատապարտյալների իրավունքը, այլ ճիշտ հակառակը՝ ՔԿՀ պետ Մխոյանի հետ փորձել են ճնշել տղաներին։ Լուրեր են շրջանառվում, որ դատապարտյալների և ՔԿՀ ղեկավարության միջադեպը սկսվել է թղթախաղ խաղալու հարցից։ Չի բացառվում, որ նշված դատապարտյալներին խցակիցները փորձել են ներքաշել թղթախաղի մեջ, սակայն մերժվել են։ Ու անհասկանալի է այս իրավիճակում ՔԿՀ ղեկավարության դժգոհ դիրքորոշումը։ Արտյոմ Մխոյանի հրահանգով միջադեպից հետո տղաները տեղափոխվել են դատապարտյալների համար նախատեսված պատժախուց։

Տեղեկացնենք, որ Գարիկ Սապոյանը ազատազրկման է դատապարտվել սպանության հատկանիշներով հարուցված քրեական գործի շրջանակներում, իսկ Գևորգ Մկրտչյանը և Արման Խալաթյանը ազատազրկման են դատապարտվել գողություն կատարելու մեղադրանքով»,–գրում է թերթը։
