Բանաստեղծ Վազգեն Առաքելյանի հոգեհանգիստը տեղի կունենա Քանաքեռի Սուրբ Հակոբ եկեղեցում

Բանաստեղծ, արձակագիր, թարգմանիչ Վազգեն Առաքելյանի հոգեհանգիստը տեղի կունենա մայիսի 13-ին, ժ. 18.00-ից Քանաքեռի Սբ. Հակոբ եկեղեցում։ Հուղարկավորությունը` մայիսի 14-ին, ժ. 14.00-ին, նույն հասցեից։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Հայաստանի գրողների միության վարչությունից:
Բանաստեղծ, արձակագիր, թարգմանիչ, 1977 թվականից ՀԳՄ անդամ Վազգեն Առաքելյանը վախճանվել է կյանքի 75-րդ տարում։
Վ. Առաքելյանը ծնվել է 1941 թ. Աբովյանի շրջանի (այժմ՝ ՀՀ Կոտայքի մարզ) Ջրաբեր գյուղում։ Ավարտել է Խ. Աբովյանի անվան մանկավարժական ինստիտուտի պատմալեզվագրական ֆակուլտետը։ Հեղինակ է երկու տասնյակից ավելի գրքերի, այդ թվում՝ «Արարատ լեռան քուրմը» (1998), «Խաչքար մայրիկիս» (2004), «Շիրազ-Նամե» (չափածո վեպ, 2006), «Գործող հրաբուխ» (2010), «Գիշերվա նախերգանք» (2011) և այլն։ Գրել է նաև մանուկ ընթերցողի համար։
Նրա ստեղծագործությունները թարգմանվել են մի քանի լեզուներով։
1993 թ. «Մորս ձեռքի հացը» բանաստեղծական ժողովածուի համար արժանացել է Դանիել Վարուժանի անվան մրցանակի, «Հակոբ Մեղապարտ» և ՀԳՄ «Գրական վաստակի համար» մեդալների (2008 թ.), «Հրանտ և Մանուշակ Սիմոնյաններ» մրցանակի (2009 թ.)։
Վաստակաշատ գրողի, սրտացավ մարդու՝ Վազգեն Առաքելյանի հիշատակը վառ կմնա նրան ճանաչողների, գործընկերների, մտերիմների և ընթերցողների սրտերում։
