Ադրբեջանն իր բաղձալի նպատակներին հասնելու համար պետք է առաջին հերթին ճանաչի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության անկախությունը և վերադարձնի իր կողմից օկուպացված Արցախի տարածքները: Այդ մասին կառավարության նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Շավարշ Քոչարյանը:
«Ադրբեջանը ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման ողջ փաթեթից փորձում է մշտապես դուրս բերել միայն տարածքային ամբողջականության սկզբունքը, դա նաև վկայում է Էլմար Մամեդյարովի՝ Գերմանիայում երեկ արած հայտարարությունը: Շատ կարևոր է արձանագրել հետևյալը. մինչև տարածքային հարցերն առաջ քաշելն Ադրբեջանը պարտավոր է առնվազն վերադարձնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության` իր կողմից օկուպացված տարածքները և ճանաչել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը: Ճանաչելով, նա կունենա այն սուբյեկտը, որն իրավազոր է քննարկել տարածքային հարցեր: ՀՀ-ն չի կարող այդպիսի հարցեր լուծել ԼՂ-ի փոխարեն: Սա է ամենակարճ ճանապարհը, որպեսզի Ադրբեջանը հասնի իր բաղձալի նպատակին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասաց Քոչարյանը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ Ադրբեջանը պետք է ԼՂՀ-ին վերադարձնի Մարտունու շրջանի, Մարտակերտի շրջանի հատվածները, ինչպես նաև Շահումյանը:
Միաժամանակ, Քոչարյանն ընդգծեց, որ առ այսօր Ադրբեջանը բանակցային գործընթացն ակնհայտորեն օգտագործել է իր ապատեղեկատվությունը տարածելու, քարոզչությունն առաջ տանելու, սպառազինվելու և հարցի ուժային լուծման նախապատրաստվելու համար: Դա, ըստ փոխարտգործնախարարի, ապացուցեցին նաև ապրիլյան դեպքերը: «Չնայած իր չհաջողված բլից կրիգին, ակնհայտ չի երևում, որ Ադրբեջանի մոտեցումներում կան փոփոխություններ: Այդ տեսակետից մենք պետք է միշտ պատրաստ լինենք նոր արկածախնդրության, այն, ինչն այսօր կոչվում է բանակցություններ, որոնք ըստ էության չկան, դրանցո ւմ առաջնային շեշտադրումը պետք է դրվի հրադադարի ռեժիմի ամրապնդման վրա»,- ասաց Քոչարյանը:
