Մարդկության կեսը արձակուրդից վերադառնում է ավելի հոգնած, քան մինչև արձակուրդն էր։ Նման եզրահանգման են եկել բրիտանացի սոցիոլոգները՝ հարցում անցկացնելով 2500 մենեջերների շրջանում։ Ինչպես գրում է The Daily Mail-ը, դրա պատճատը տեխնոլոգիական նորամուծություններն են, ինչպես, օրինակ, iPhone-ը, որի պատճառով մարդիկ աշխատում են նույնիսկ արձակուրդի ընթացքում։
Պարզվում է՝ ընտանիքի հետ իրենց հանգիստն անցկացնելու փոխարեն հարցվածների մեծ մասը տենդագին ստուգում է էլ. փոստը և պատասխանում գրասենյակից հնչող հեռախոսազանգերին։ Իսկ ոմանք, նույնիսկ, արձակուրդի ընթացքում աշխատանքի են գնում։ Հարցվածների 80 տոկոսը խոստովանել է, որ արձակուրդի ժամանակ ստուգում է էլ.փոստը, 50 տոկոսը պատմել է, որ հեռախոսով զրուցում է գործընկերների հետ, իսկ 10 տոկոսը՝ որ հաճախում է գրասենյակ։
Ըստ հետազոտությունն իրականացրած խմբի ղեկավարի՝ մենեջերներն անկարող են աշխատանքից կտրվել, քանի որ մշտապես մտածում են, թե որքան բան ունեն անելու արձակուրդից հետո։
Ըստ մեկ այլ հետազոտողի՝ շատ աշխատակիցներ դառնում են աշխատամոլության զոհ աշխատանքը կորցնելու վախից։ Վիճակագրության համաձայն՝ մենեջերների մոտ 40 տոկոսը աշխատում է շաբաթը 50 ժամ, 10 տոկոսը՝ ավելի քան 60 ժամ։
Նշենք, որ շուտով նման պրակտիկան կվերանա։ Համենայն դեպս, տարվա մեջ 14 օր ստիպված կլինեն հանգստանալ նույնիսկ ամենաարմատացած աշխատամոլները։ Այսպիսին են Աշխատանքի միջազգային կազմակերպության՝ վճարվող արձակուրդների մասին կոնվենցիայի պահանջները։
