«Մեր տեղեկություններով, առաջիկայում կառավարությունում կարող են սկսվել «Հյուսիս-հարավ» մայրուղու որոշ հատվածների շինարարության նպատակահարմարության հետ կապված հարցեր։ Խնդիրն արդեն ուսումնասիրության փուլում է:
Մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, խնդիրը արդիական Է դարձել ՀՀ արտաքին պարտքի անկասելի աճի պատճառով, որը արդեն հասել Է կրիտիկական սահմանին։ Այս առաջարկը մշակողների հաշվարկները ցույց են տվել, որ մայրուղու շինարարությունը նույն ստանդարտներով շարունակելու դեպքում ծախսվելիք գումարը կհատի 2 միլիարդ դոլարը, որը վարկերի տեսքով պետք Է ներգրավվի արտաքին աղբյուրներից։ Ուստի և պատրաստվում Է առաջարկ, ըստ որի մայրուղու 5 առանձին հատվածներ թեկուզ ժամանակավորապես կվերակառուցվեն ավելի համեստ չափանիշներով։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, նման հատվածները գտնվում են Սյունիքի, Վայոց ձորի և Շիրակի մարզերում։ Մայրուղու Երևանին հարող հատվածները, նաև Վրաստանի ու Իրանի հետ սահմանակցող հատվածները կվերակառուցվեն ամբողջությամբ՝ նախկինում հաստատված չափանիշներով։ Առաջարկը ընդունելու դեպքում սպասվում Է, որ հնարավորություն կստեղծվի պակաս վերցնել մինչև 150 միլիոն դոլարի վարկ»,–գրում է թերթը։
