Հայաստանում շուրջ  3.500 երեխա  առանձնացված է իր ընտանիքից և բնակվում է խնամքի հաստատություններում: 

Այս մասին նշեց Հայաստանում ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ի ներկայացուցիչ Տանյա Ռադոչայը:  Նա ընդգծեց, որ վերջին տասը տարիներին Հայաստանն առաջընթաց է գրանցել երեխաներին ընտանիքն եր վերադարձնելու  հարցում: Տասը տարի առաջ ընտանիքներից առանձնացած էր մոտ 11 հազար երեխա, այսօր` 3.500:

«Եկել է ժամանակն ավելի շատ ջանք գործադրելու, որ երեխաները չառանձնացվեն ընտանքից: Եթե ամեն դեպքում այնպիսի իրավիճակ է, որ դա տեղի պետք է ունենա, ապա երեխաները պետք է տեղավորվեն այլընտրանքային ընտանիքում: Դա հնարավոր է, ասօր էլ Հայաստանում կատարվում է:

Հուսով ենք, հետագայում իրականություն կդառանա այլ երեխաների համար: Հաստատություններում իրականացվող խնամքը վնասակար հետևանքներ է ունենում երեխաների համար, հատկապես, ազդում է հետագայում ընտանեկան կապեր ձևավորելու ունակության վրա: Յուրաքանչյուր երեխա կարիք ունի առնվազն մեկ հոգատար և սիրող մեծահասակի, ով երեխայի բնորոշ կարիքներին կարձագանքի, կձևավորի կայուն հարաբերություններ»,-ասաց Տանյա Ռադոչայը:

Նա նկատեց, որ հաստատություններում  բնակվող երեխաների մեծ մասի ծնողներից մեկը ողջ է:  Առերևույթ, նրանք ընտանիքներից  առանձնացվում են 2 պատճառով` ընտանիքի աղքատություն, հաշմանդամություն: Ըստ Տանյա Ռադոչայի` թե աղքատությունը, թե հաշմանդամությունը չպետք է երեխային հաստատությունում տեղավորելու պատճառ լինեն:

«Իրականում պատճառները հետևյալն են. ընտանիքներին օժանդակ վերաբերմունքի բացակայությունը կամ անբավարար լինելը, ինչպես նաև հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաների ընտանիքների նկատմամբ ոչ նպաստավոր վերաբերմունքը: Ֆինանսական, սոցիալ-հոգեբանական օժանդակության դեպքում  ընտանիքների մեծ մասն ի վիճակի կլինի պատշաճ խնամք ապահովել իր երեխաների համար»,-ասաց Տանյա Ռադոչայը:

ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության Ընտանիքի, կանանց և երեխաների հիմնահարցերի վարչության պետ Գեղանուշ Գյունաշյանը նշեց, որ մտել են բարեփոխումների մի նոր փուլ: Հայաստանում բարեփոխումները սկսվել են դեռևս 2000-ականների սկզբից: Կարիքի լուրջ գնահատականից հետո մեծ թվով երեխաներ վերադարձվեցին ընտանիք:  

«Գաղտնիք չէ, որ երեխաները հաստատություններում տեղավորվում են սոցիալական խնդիրների պատճառով: Ամբողջ աշխարհում ընտանիքներին ուղղված կոչն է, աղքատության պատճառով չենք կարող և իրավունք չունենք երեխային կտրել ընտանիքից»,- ասաց Գեղանուշ  Գյունաշյանը:

Նրա տեղեկացմամբ, պետական մանկատներում այսօր խնամվում է շուրջ 660 երեխա, որից  550-ն ունեն հաշմանդամություն, մնացած երեխաները Կրթության և գիտության, ինչպես նաև Աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության գիշերօթիկ դպրոցներում են: Այսինքն` ընտանիքներից ամբողջովին կտրված չե ն: Ըստ նրա` սա խոսում է այն մասին որ երեխաներին ընտանիքներ վերադարձնելու գործընթացը կազմակեպելը շատ դյուրին է  լինելու:
