Մոդելավորող, դիզայներ, փոքրիկ սև զգեստի հեղինակ, Chanel նորաձևության տան հիմնադիր Կոկո Շանելն իր առաջին խանութը բացել է 1910-ին Փարիզում և արդյունքում հեղափոխություն իրականացրել 20-րդ դարի նորաձևության ոլորտում։
Շանելի արտահայտությունները վաղուց դասական են դարձել, սակայն մինչ օրս շարունակում են արդիական մնալ։ Forbes-ը ներկայացնում է դիզայների ամենահայտնի խոսքերը բիզնեսի, հաջողության, սիրո և տղամարդկանց մասին։
Կան մարդիկ, ովքեր գումար ունեն, և կան հարուստ մարդիկ։
Իմ կողքին չի եղել ոչ մայր, ոչ հայր։ Իմ միայնությունն ինձ ուժեղ անձնավորություն է դարձրել, այն օգնել է ինձ շատ բաների հասնել ինքնուրույն։
Պետք չէ գլխով հարվածել պատին՝ հույս ունենալով դրա մեջ դուռ բացել։
Սնունդը պետք է թեթև լինի։ Լավ է քնել 7-8 ժամ, եթե ցանկություն կա։ Քնել բաց պատուհանների տակ։ Առավոտյան վաղ արթնանալ, աշխատել խիստ, շատ խիստ։ Չնստել մինչ ուշ գիշեր։
Սիրահարվելով՝ ես միշտ ամբողջությամբ տրվել եմ իմ զգացմունքին։ Սակայն երբ ստիպված եմ եղել ընտրություն կատարել տղամարդու և իմ զգեստների միջև, ես ընտրել եմ զգեստները։ Ես միշտ իմ կրքերից ուժեղ եմ եղել, աշխատանքն ինձ համար յուրահատուկ թմրանյութ է։ Սակայն ես կասկածում եմ, որ կլինեի բոլորին հայտնի Շանել՝ առանց տղամարդկանց օգնության։
Ես ոչ հիմար եմ և ոչ էլ խելացի, սակայն ես առանձնահատուկ կին եմ։ Զբաղվել եմ բիզնեսով՝ չիմանալով բիզնեսի կանոնները։ Ես սիրել եմ, թեև ստեղծված չեմ միայն սիրո համար։ Սակայն ես միշտ անկեղծ եմ եղել կյանքում և բիզնեսում։
Փոքրիկ սև զգեստը շատ առավելություններ է տվել կանանց, հատկապես՝ աշխատող և կարիերայով զբաղված կանանց։
Երբեք ոչ ոք Կոկո Շանելին չի ասել՝ ինչ պետք է ասել և մտածել։
Փնտրե՛ք կնոջը զգեստի մեջ։ Եթե չկա կին, չկա նաև զգեստ։
Մարդիկ չեն կարող հավերժ զբաղվել նորարարություններով։ Ես ցանկանում եմ ստեղծել դասականը։
Ամենագլխավոր համարձակությունն ինքնուրույն մտածելն է։ Եվ բարձրաձայն մտածելը։
Քանի որ մեզ մոտ ամեն ինչ գլխում է, ապա ավելի լավ է չկորցնել այն։
Երբեք չի կարելի թուլանալ։ Միշտ պետք է հետևել արտաքինին։ Չի կարելի վատ տեսքով ներկայանալ։ Հատկապես հարազատներին և մտերիմներին։ Նրանք վախենում են։ Իսկ թշնամիները, ընդհակառակը, երջանկություն են զգում։ Այդ պատճառով էլ, ինչ էլ որ պատահի, անհրաժեշտ է մտածել՝ ինչ տեսք ունես։
