ԱՄՆ-ը նախկինի պես հավատարիմ է նոր գազային երթուղիներին, որոնք նպաստում են Եվրոպայի դիվերսիֆիկացիային ու էներգետիկ անվտանգությանը, այդ թվում՝ «Հարավային գազային միջանցքին», Տրանս-Ադրիատիկ (TAP) և IGB խողովակատարերին:
Այս մասին ասվում է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիի նամակում, որը կարդացել է ԱՄՆ Պետդեպի հատուկ դեսպանորդ Ամոս Խոխշտեյնը Հունաստանի Սալոնիկի քաղաքում TAP խողովակատարի հիմնարկեքի արարողության ժամանակ:
Քերիի խոսքով՝ ТАР-ը «Հարավային գազային միջանցքի» հիմնական մասն է, ու այդ իրադարձությունը կարևոր է:
«Հարավային գազային միջանցքը», որը Եվրոպային տարեկան պետք է մատակարարի 10 մլրդ խմ ադրբեջանական գազ, ըստ Քերիի, Եվրոպային կտա նոր հույս և հնարավորություններ՝ դիվերսիֆիկացիայի տեսանկյունից:
ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի խոսքով՝ կարևոր է առաջ շարժվել ոչ միայն «Հարավային գազային միջանցք» նախագծով, այլևս այլ նախագծերով, որոնցից է Հունաստան-Բուլղարիան (IGB):
TAP-ը «Հարավային գազային միջանցքի» երրորդ բաղկացուցիչ մասն է, որը ենթադրում է ադրբեջանական գազի մատակարարում Եվրոպա:
Ադրբեջանական գազը «Բաքու-Թբիլիսի-Էրզրում» գազատարով հասցվելու է Թուրքիա, որտեղից այն «Անդրանատոլիական» գազատարով պետք է հասցվի Հունաստանի սահման, որտեղից էլ մեկնարկում է TAP-ը:
TAP-ի բաժնետերերն են բրիտանական BP-ը (20%), ադրբեջանական SOCAR-ը (20%), Statoil-ը (20%), Fluxys-ը (19%), Enagás-ը (16%) և Axpo-ն (5%):
Սկզբնապես, TAP-ի հզորությունը կկազմի տարեկան 10 մլրդ խմ՝ մինչև 20 մլրդ խմ ծավալի ընդլայնման հնարավորությամբ:
