Ավիացիայի ոլորտում ֆրանսիացի փորձագետները միաձայն են այն հարցում, որ EgyptAir ավիաընկերությանը պատկանող Airbus A320-ի վրա հարձակում է իրականացվել: Այս մասին BFMTV-ի հարցազրույցում ասել է աերոնավտիկայի հարցով մասնագետ Ժերար Ֆելձերը՝ հայտարարելով, որ շարժիչի պայթյունի վարկածը քիչ հավանական է:
Նա պարզաբանել է, որ ինքնաթիռը շահագործվել է 2003թ. և «համեմատաբար նոր» է: «Եթե շարժիչը պայթեր, ապա անձնակազմը կհասցներ աղետի նշաններ ուղարկել, սակայն դա տեղի չի ունեցել»,-ասել է նա՝ նշելով, որ ավիաաղետի պատճառ է համարում ինքնաթիռում տեղակայված ռումբը:
Իր հերթին, ֆրանսիական ավիացիոն բյուրոի նախկին ղեկավար Ժան-Պոլ Տրոադեն հաստատել է, որ ինքնաթիռը սարքին է եղել, իսկ եղանակային պայմանները՝ բարենպաստ:
Ընդ որում, Հունաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Պանոս Կամենոսը մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ հայտարարել էր, որ ինքնաթիռը մինչ ընկելը սկսել է բարձրություն կորցնել, գրում է The Daily Telegraph-ը:
