Ապրիլի սկզբին ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանին հակառակորդի կողմից սանձազերծված պատերազմը շատերին առաջնորդեց առաջնագիծ: Մեր ժամանակների ազտամարտիկների շարքերը առաջին իսկ օրից համալրեց նաև կանանց ծանրամարտի Հայաստանի առայժմ միակ աշխարհի չեմպիոն և Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն Նազիկ Ավդալյանի ամուսինը՝ Էրիկ Կարապետյանը: Կինը Նորվեգիայում հաղթական դրոշը ծածանեց, ամուսինն՝ Արցախում:
«Ես գիտեի, որ Էրիկը գնալու է, այլ տարբերակ լինել չէր կարող: Նրան լավ եմ ճանաչում և գիտեմ, թե որքան կարևոր է հայրենիքն իր համար: Տեղյակ էի, որ նա մեկնել է, բայց չգիտեի, որ առաջին գծում է կռվում: Իմանալով իմ բնավորությունը՝ չէր ցանկացել ասել, որպեսզի չանհանգստանամ, պարապմունքներս չձախողեմ: Թեև, միևնույն է՝ բոլորի մասին էի մտածում և այդ լարված իրավիճակը որոշակիորեն ազդել էր իմ պարապմունքների վրա: Երբ Նորվեգիայում հաղթելով՝ Հայաստան եկա, մի քանի օր անց Էրիկը ևս տուն եկավ, բայց մեկ շաբաթից նորից մեկնեց: Գիտեմ, որ շատ մոտ են սահմանին, բայց շատ տեղեկություններ չի հայտնում: Երբ խոսում ենք, միայն ասում է, որ լավ է ու վերջ», - Aysor.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց մարզուհին:
Չնայած նրանց որդին՝ Վաչեն, ընդամենը երկուս ու կես տարեկան է, բայց շատ բան հասկանում է և մեծ ցանկություն ուներ հայրիկին ուղեկցելու: «Տղաս լացում էր, հայրիկին ասում, որ ինքն էլ է ուզում նրա հետ գնալ Ղարաբաղ՝ «թուրքերին սպանելու»: Նույնիսկ համոզում էր, որ դրոշը իրենց հետ տանեն: Երբ Էրիկն ասաց՝ կուզե՞ս չգնամ, տղաս պատասխանեց՝ չէ, գնա, բայց ես էլ հետդ գամ: Բայց դե իրեն համոզեցինք 15 տարի հետո գնալ… Հավատացեք՝ իր մոտ երբեք այդպիսի թեմաներով չենք զրուցել»,-ժպիտով հայտնեց մեր զրուցակիցը:
