Վիեննայում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպմանը ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման նոր փաստաթուղթ չի քննարկվել: ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Խոսքը հիմնականում գնում է վստահության մեխանիզմների ամրապնդման մասին, խաղաղության ամրապնդման մասին, այն մասին, որ 1994թ. զինադադարն անժամկետ է ու նոր զինադադար չի կարող լինել, իսկ Ադրբեջանը պե տք է իրականացնի այն պարտավորությունները, որոնք ստանձնել է 1994թ.: Որևէ նոր բան չկա: Այն, ինչ կա, ամբողջությամբ ներկայացվել է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Շարմազանովը:
Շարմազանովը հավելեց, որ Ռուսաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի ԱԳ նախարարությունների, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարության ներկայացուցիչները հստակ հայտարարել են, որ անկյունաքարային խնդիրներից մեկն Արցախի ինքնորոշման իրավունքն է:«Որևէ նոր սկզբունք չի ներդրվել, չկա նոր սկզբունք: Խնդիրը պետք է կարգավորվի երեք հայտնի սկզբունքների հիման վրա՝ տարածքային ամբողջականություն, ինքնորոշման իրավունք, ուժի չկիրառում»,- եզրափակեց Շարմազանովը:
