Շրի Լանկայում աճում է սողանքների ու հեղեղումների զոհերի թիվը

Շրի Լանկայում սողանքների ու հեղեղումների զոհերի թիվը հասել Է 63-ի: Այդ մասին, հայտնել Է «Սինհուա» գործակալությունը՝ հղում անելով տարերային աղետների դեմ պայքարի տեղական վարչությանը: Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել Էր 43 զոհվածների մասին:
Արտակարգ իրավիճակների հակազդման ազգային կենտրոնի տվյալներով, որոնք ներկայացրել Է EconomyNext հրատարակությունը, տարերքի հարվածից այս կամ այն չափով տուժել Է 428 հազար մարդ, գրեթե 300 հազար բնակիչներ տեղափոխվել են ժամանակավոր կացարաններ:
Հեղեղումներից առավել շատ են տուժել Կոլոմբոյի օկրուգի՝ Կելանի գետի ափերին գտնվող շրջանները: Առավել մեծ թվով զոհեր են գրանցվել Սաբարագամուվայի նահանգի Արանեյեյկիի շրջանում, որտեղ սողանք Է եղել: Ավելի քան 100 մարդ դեռեւս անհետ կորած Է համարվում այդ շրջանում:
Ռոանու արեւադարձային ցիկլոնը, որը հեղեղումներ Է առաջացրել Շրի Լանկայի մի քանի նահանգներում, օդերեւութաբանների տվյալներով՝ հեռանում Է տարածաշրջանից եւ շարժվում Մյանմայի ուղղությամբ:
Մայիսի 18-ի առավոտյան սողանքների են ենթարկվել Կեգալեի շրջանի մի քանի գյուղար, փլվել են բազմաթիվ տներ: Հարյուրավոր մարդիկ հայտնվել են փլվածքների տակ: Փրկարարական գործողությունները շարունակվում են, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի գործակալությունը:
