ՄԱԿ-ը Երկրի վրա շրջակա միջավայրի վիճակի վատացման տեմպերի աճ Է արձանագրել

 Շրջակա միջավայրի վիճակը վատթարանում Է ավելի արագ, քան ավելի վաղ կարծում Էին, ինչը դրսեւորվում Է սառցադաշտերի հալմամբ, Համաշխարհային օվկիանոսի մակարդակի բարձրացմամբ եւ Երկրի մակերեւույթի ջերմաստիճանի աճով: Այս մասին, ասված Է ՄԱԿ-ի Շրջակա միջավայրի ծրագրի (ՅՈՒՆԵՊ) զեկ ույցում, որի պատրաստմանը մասնակցել են ավելի քան 1,2 հազար գիտնականներ, հարյուրավոր ինստիտուտներ եւ ավելի քան 160 կառավարություններ:

Փաստաթուղթը բաղկացած Է վեց բաժիններից, որոնցից յուրաքանչյուրում մանրամասնորեն վերլուծված Է բնապահպանական իրադրությունն աշխարհի վեց տարածաշրջաններում՝ Աֆրիկայում, Ասիախաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում, Արեւմտյան Ասիայում, Լատինական Ամերիկայում եւ Կարիբյան ավազանում, Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայում, ինչպես նաեւ համաեվրոպական տարածաշրջանում: Վերջին բաժնի շնորհանդեսը տեղի կունենա հունիսի 8-ին Բաթումում (Վրաստան) շրջակա միջավայրի գործերի նախարարների 8-րդ եվրոպական խորհրդաժողովում:

Հետազոտողները նշում են, որ գործնականում աշխարհի յուրաքանչյուր տարածաշրջանում նկատվում են բնակչության թվաքանակի եւ քաղաքայնացման տեմպերի աճ, պաշարների սպառման մակարդակի մեծացում, հողի դեգրադացիա, անապատացում եւ կլիմայական փոփոխություններ: Այս ամենը չափազանց բացասական ներգործություն Է ունենում մարդու կյանքի վրա եւ հանգեցնում Է ջրային պաշարների եւ պարենի սուր պակասության: 

Գիտնականները հիշեցնում են, որ Արկտիկան ծառայում Է որպես մոլորակի վրա փոփոխությունների «ճնշաչափ», եւ աշխարհի հենց այդ մասում Է վերջին ժամանակներս ցցուն դրսեւորվում գլոբալ տաքացումը: Մասնագետների տվյալներով՝ 1980 թվականից ի վեր Հյուսիսային բեւեռի շուրջը տարեկան միջին ջերմաստիճանը կրկնակի արագ Է աճել, քան Երկրագնդի մնացած տարածաշրջաններում:     

Զեկույցի հեղինակներն ուշադրություն են հրավիրում Գրենլանդիայում, Ալյասկայում եւ Կանադայի հյուսիսային շրջաններում, ինչպես նաեւ Հարավային Անդերում եւ Ասիայի լեռնազանգվածներում սառցադաշտերի հալման աճող տեմպերի վրա: Դրանք միասին պարունակում են սառույցի համաշխարհային պաշարների ավելի քան 80 տոկոսը, եւ դրանց հալումն անխուսափելիորեն տանում Է Համաշխարհային օվկիանոսի մակարդակի բարձրացման, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
